7/22/19 Today we celebrate my Husband David's 8th year of waking up after his life saving surgery from his terminal Cancer diagnosis. Each year of being Cancer free is a celebration. Thank you and a good review just doesn't seem to be enough to the Team of Doctors at Temple who saved David's life. Dr. Gibas who found the Cancer, Dr. Karachristos who performed the 9 + hours surgery, Dr. Munoz, " The Wizard" his Anethesiaologist and a great Nursing staff. After being told by the doctors at Hershey Cancer center in Lancaster, PA that there was nothing that they could do and he should get his affairs in order to expect about a year to live. We were devastated since he had no signs or symptoms of illness, this diagnosis left us empty and shocked. We gathered ourselves, Then David faced a second opinion and surgery with great strength and courage. Today we are feeling very grateful for the added years.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Karachristos! He is a very gifted surgeon and a very caring physician. Coupled together he is a wonderful doctor and a terrific human being. So grateful we found him.

My mom had a surgery with Dr. Karachristos. We are extremely happy with him. The surgery went better than we expected. He did such a great job and recovery was quick for that big of a surgery. He is an amazing person and cares about his patients. He is always available if you need him. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and gives the best advice.

I saw Dr Karachristos at Fox Chase for the first time on July 28th 2016.He spent a lot of time with me !And He told me I had a neuroendocrine tumor on my pancreas and it was cancerous! it was 2 cm. He spoke to me about having Whipple surgery it's serious surgery. I was Scared ! But,I wanted to go through it so it wouldn't spread. I had my surgery on Oct 28,2016. it went Very Well! because I had the Best surgeon Dr K who is Very intelligent!,caring! Doctor! Best Expeirence,Best Hospital 11 Stars!

While we had confidence in Dr Karachristos the office wait time was incredibly long. We sat in the exam room for over an hour waiting to see the doctor.
