WOW! other people have experienced her unprofessionalism. Had we read the reviews, her consistent demeanor would have alerted us & a life could have been spared. She took advantage of family in desperate times. Soo Callous!!! Avoid as a plague.

It's taken me a year to write this. Unprofessional, never visited prior or post surgery, never a call, did not even want to do a follow-up visit. She never visited my wife (her patient) after operating. She never followed up with any of my wife visits to emergency room. She changed a biopsy into an operation. Performed said operation in 3 hrs that on average takes 10-15+hrs. My wife past away 3 weeks after her operation.

Dr Douglas did my back surgery a few years ago. She is an amazing doctor and very easy to talk to. Wish she was still in the DMV area.

After waiting over an hour I was never seen. I kept being told 5 more minutes. Dr. Douglas came out to finally see me and said she had to do two other tasks then would see me. As a hospital employee this was a huge disappointment to be left waiting until I could not wait anymore due to child care. Will not be attempting to see this doctor again. My experience with Dr. Andrea Douglas was excellent. I had lower back pain, which was increasing in severity for 5 years. I had seen 12 different doctors and had P.T., 2 series of sessions and numerous injections, without relief. I had a consultation with Dr. Douglas, she listened to my complaints, suggested a plan and then I had surgery. I'm now PAIN-FREE and I have my life back, thanks to Dr. Douglas. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Andrea Douglas is amazing. very thorough, kind and understandable, she always make sure you feel comfortable and does anything in her power help you. The best neurosurgeon in the area and her team is amazing.

The minute I met Dr. Douglas I loved her energy. She was my third “second opinion” and an hour away from where I live but I knew after meeting with her, she was worth the drive. Dr. Douglass was sympathetic and kind and instantly made me feel like I was finally going to get relief from years of back pain and failed treatments. Bonus, her office staff was always friendly and I never had to wait more then ten minutes to see her. Surgery was a huge success and I would recommend Dr Douglass to anyone with back pain! I met Dr Douglas unwillingly. I had very bad sciatica(bulged disc) I got to the point where I could not stand and the pain left me stranded on the side of the road in my car. I was afraid of doctors and surgery, I believed I could heel myself with rest and heating pads looking back stupid move. My wife tired of hearing me yell out in pain arrange for an emergency surgery with Dr. Douglas. I had the surgery and was able to return home the same day pain FREE. I would tell anyone that needs the surgery to choose Dr. Douglas she explained the procedure in detail and made me feel very comfortable so much so that I has no anxiety the morning of. Had a surprise fall and was rushed to Stamford Hospital.Was assigned Dr. Douglas, which turned out to be my lucky day. She was magnificent.
