I Have been looking for this Dr. for years. My daughter who is now 17 was diagnosed with a rare heart condition when she was born. She was born at North Central Bronx Hospital in NYC, they called Dr. Jiwani who was working at Long Island Jewish Hospital, and he found that my daughter had a membrane over tricuspid valve. I was 18 years old I had no clue what was going on, all I knew was my daughter was extremely ill and turned blue when she was fed. This Dr. rushed her over to Schneiders Children Hospital where he performed open heart surgery. She was only seven days old; so it was extremely risk and her heart was the size of her palm at that time. He saved her life!! She hasn’t had any problems ever since. Thank you so much Dr. Jiwani, there’s not a day that goes by that I do not think of you. I Have been looking for this Dr. for years. Dr. Jiwani took excellent care of my son. He was extremely attentive and was very involved in every step of my son's treatment process. He is approachable, and very caring. I am very lucky to have had Dr. Jiwani as my son's pediatric cardiologist

He's a Dr. Who cares more about his ego than his patient. He is not a comprehensive Dr. - meaning ....He doesn't work well with coordination of other issues or Dr.'s outside of UTMB. He stays in his very tight spot of expertise. If you have a issue that is electical - he is not your Dr.
