Dr. Amy Lum Tobin

The doctor is very rude and not understanding that her older patients are not internet savvy. she should mail he questionnaire to her new patients as not every one has 1. internet or 2 a printer. my family memeber showed up early by 40 minutes to get a copy to fill out and she was extremely rude. now she has discouraged him from seeking help for a life altering and deadly but controllable disease. I had been Dr. Tobin's patient for over a decade. I deal or have dealt with Grave's Disease, hyperthyroidism, and post-ablative hypothyroidism. Dr. Tobin is the best doctor I've ever had. She's practical, no-nonsense, compassionate, thoughtful, thorough, smart, and a joy to talk to. I always felt reassured by her and secure in my treatment. She helped me during some very hard moments in my life, and made sure I was getting the treatment I needed. At one point, I was losing my insurance due to a lay off, and she made sure my health concerns were dealt with in a timely and cost-effective manner. My hyperthyroidism had come out of remission and we got all my tests and radiation treatment taken care of before my insurance coverage ended. She later directed me to a more affordable supplier for my prescription medication. Of all the doctors I've had, I trust and value her care and expertise the most.

She actually cares about my health. She takes her time with me and answers all of my questions that I may have. I do not have a long wait in the waiting room when I go for my appointments.

All I hear from Dr. Tobin? "Your levels are normal, I have no idea why you are feeling the way you do." Seriously?!?! Yet another endo who has no clue in regards to thyroid issues/Hashimotos. Unfortunately, she must have been taught in medical school that normal lab results equate to normal health.

Dr Tobin takes time to listen to my concerns and is able to get me in for an appointment when I need to see her. She is caring and considerate. I would highly recommend this office. Staff are friendly and quick to help. Lots of new things happening in improvement of quality. Great office all around!
