Dr Amy performed a total thyroidectomy in 2015. She was able to remove all that was necessary and left a very small scar. I highly recommend and would give 100 stars if I could

I am a new patient and had some testing done on 1/12/22. The test results were to be called to me within 2 to 3 days.I have called Dr. Quillo's office several times to get my results reviewed and still have not heard anything back as of now 1/23/22 and neither did she share with the endocrinologist that had sent me to her.Highly disappointed!! I am very disappointed with the care and follow-up at Dr. Quillo’s office. I had an office visit on May 26 and a scan was ordered for June 4th. It is now June 20th and I still have not received any follow up phone call with the results and further treatment. There are notes on the online chart but, of course, it is in medical terminology. I have called the office twice and was told that someone would get back to me. Still no word!

There cannot be enough words to say about Dr Quillo, and Carolyn, what a great team! They came through for me when I needed them. Dr Quillo is super, nice, professional and wouldnt hesitate to recommend her, shes good.

Dr. Quillo is AMAZING! Her CV is impeccable! She removes more diseased thyroids than any other surgeon in Louisville. She loves her patients and she knows her trade! Loved her!!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Amy Quillo. This woman is absolutely amazing, patient, kind, and a great surgeon. I cannot say enough good things about her and all her staff. Everyone was helpful, nice, and caring from the first visit, through surgery, to present. If you need an Oncologist, in my opinion she is the best in the business. Dr. Quillo has a great bedside manner and is highly professional. She was recommended by the lab techs who scanned my husband and by several reviews. She recommended finding a surgeon who preforms this surgery (parathyroidectomy) at least 50 times a year, be that person herself or another surgeon. Everything went perfectly. My husband was finding it painful to walk, among a slew of other ailments, leading up to the surgery. Dr. Quillo is wonderful!!! She is very nice and she listen to everything you say. She gives you every detail of what's going on. She will be doing my surgery soon on my thyroid. And I know I'm in good hands. I'm scared but I know she will make sure I'm good. I think the lord for helping me find her!!

My husband's endocrinologist sent us to Dr. Quillo for a consult. He told us: "she is the best". She and her entire staff were friendly and kind. Dr. Quillo communicates effectively, answers questions and takes her time. Her demeanor reflects care and compassion. She put our minds at ease and we left her office feeling at peace about the upcoming procedure. So we scheduled the surgery. Fast forward to today...the day of surgery. At the hospital, various medical professionals said: "Dr. Quillo...she is amazing, she is by far the best...you are in good hands...if I were having thyroid surgery, she would be the one I would want!" Well, my husband is the love of my life and my best friend. So as you can imagine, those votes of confidence were welcomed assurances. I had parathyroid surgery on February 25th. Dr. Quillo was recommended by my Internist who said she was the best surgeon there was. He was so right!! She is caring, She explained in detail what she would do and listened to and answered all questions I had. So patient with this senior and seemed like she would spend as much time as needed with me. The day of surgery she was right there to calm any fears I had and made me feel like I was in the best hands possible. I highly recommend her and her staff who were also so sweet and caring. Dr. Quillo was recommended to me by my endocrinologist who said she was the best. As I was leaving his office, several staff members highly recommended her too. When I met her, I immediately felt that she was highly skilled and very compassionate. The day of my parathyroidectomy surgery I heard other positive remarks from several personnel of the hospital. When Dr. Quillo spoke to me before the surgery of what she was going to do and what to expect afterwards, I felt at ease. Dr. Quillo is a fantastic surgeon, and is up-to-date and highly trained in hyperparathyroidism. She listens very effectively, and she actually cares. I experienced very little pain and side effects from my parathyroidectomy. Her medical assistant, Carolynn, is AWESOME as well. Carolynn goes above and beyond for her patients! Dr. Quillo removed my thyroid and is an outstanding surgeon. Her bedside manor is fantastic and she is so friendly, answers all your questions and takes the time to make sure you are well taken care of. I felt completely at ease with her and would highly recommend her. She is the best at what she does.

Dr Quillo was awesome. She removed my thyroid and was able to remove all of the cancer and I am now cancer free!

This physician was highly recommended to me by another medical doctor. She performed my total thyroidectomy on March 8, 2016. My experience with Dr. Quillo before, during, and after the surgery was outstanding. She took time to carefully answer all my questions and did so in a caring way, easing my concerns. I was amazed that I experienced virtually no pain after the procedure. Dr. Quillo is an absolute expert at what she does, and truly cares about her patients.
