My son has Down Syndrome. He is non-verbal. He was having a terrible school year. At the advice of a friend, I called Dr. Amy. She went to my son’s school within days of our first conversation. She observed part of his day. She was quick to give me a report on her observations. She gave advice on how best to “fix” the situation. Dr. Amy’s advice was spot on! She is the kid guru! Just as my friend told me! We are lucky to have you Dr. Amy!!

My background is child psych & childhood dev, yet that in no way prepped me to coach own my son. Especially since we're both ADD! That being said, having known hundreds of clinicians in my lifetime, I assert that Dr. Palmer is not only beyond reproach, she is kind yet tenacious. She is empathic whilst still exuding a professionalism earned of her education, experience, hard work & a pure, innate talent to talk w/kids. My son has had exponiential progress & always looks forward to seeing her. <3

While I appreciate Dr. Palmer's manner with our daughter, she has been very disorganized in every regard. It took her several months to complete a Psychoeducational Evaluation. Meaning, we had our daughter go in for the evaluation, then we met with Dr. Palmer for preliminary results, and then it took her over 6 months to even get us a formal summary to show her teachers, and this she had to actually FAX over to the school while we were having our IEP meeting because it was so last minute.
