Dr Shihabi and staff didn't respect my appointment and cancelled mine already on site after letting them know I had no referral. Don't come to this place.

Be careful about billing dishonesty by Northern Virginia Oral, Maxillofacial & Implant Surgery center in Burke, Virgina. Needed my tooth extracted. Dr. Shihabi said if he performs the dental implant at the same time when he extracts my tooth then it will cost me lot less. I asked if I they will only charge me in-network fees negotiated by my Insurance. And they said "yes". So I agreed to do the Implant. I had to pay out-of-pocket money right there. It turned out that they had charged me nearly double than what I should have paid them. When I got the "Explanation of Benefit" statement from my Insurance, it showed that they had not honored the in-network insurance negotiated price and had charged me nearly double out-of-pocket money. When I called their billing department, they refused to return the money, I had over paid them. Three other people told me that they had same experience with this center's billing tactics. None of my family members and friends will ever go back there.
