Dr. Ammar Adnan Bayrakdar

Nurse never returns phone calls about refills for medication been waiting 4 months for a return call.

Dr. Bayrakdar is fantastic if you can deal with the staff. I ran out of medication and called for a refill repeatedly. The staff refused to call in the refill until the next appointment which wasn't for weeks. When asked repeatedly for the doctor or his assistant to call back they never did. Had to get the prescription from my primary care doctor and never went back.

I’m 67 yo and have been dealing with up and down thyroid levels for years. I decided to see a specialist and my Dr. referred me to Dr. Bayrakder. I’ve only seen him once but he explained things I never knew before about medications. We’re starting a new plan and I feel so confident in his care. He’s very easy to talk to and understand on a layman’s level. He’s also very caring. This is the first time I’ve rated a Dr. thank you Dr. Bayrakder, looking forward to working with you

I wasn't happy and neither was my primary position satisfied with the way he handled my situation which we both agreed was unique rather than trying to look further into it He just wrote it off as he didn't think my readings were correct even though the events was constantly happening So my doctor suggested that I just see another doctor and I agree with my doctor because something is going on and I need a doctor that's willing to take the time to find out exactly what it is and not just say that he don't believe that the meters are right and the way that I'm feeling was agreeing with the meters and he disagreed with both He knew I wasn't a diabetic and he didn't believe that my glucose was dropping as low as the hospitals or the meters indicated so I'm not willing to take that chance so I would like to get a second opinion and he was just too nonchalant ABOUT something as serious as dangerously low glucose reading which he agreed that was a dangerous low read but he didn't trust the readings and indicated that I shouldn't worry about it and neither did I or my doctor agree so we decided to get a different opinion so now I have to go and find another doctor even though I'm not a diabetic so there's got to be a reason why my glucose is dropping so dangerously low which was Dr Bayrakdar wotdsy and I want to find out especially with all the symptoms that I'm having I've been totally drained all the time like I'm going to pass out other than that I would say he was a good doctor he just didn't take care of me properly or try to find harder as to what was going on with me but he agreed that I am not a diabetic my A1C was 5 and below so it's no way I was a diabetic but then there's no way my glucose should be dangerously low either so something is wrong I wasn't happy and neither was my primary position satisfied with the way he handled my situation which we both agreed was unique rather than trying to look further into it He just wrote it off as he didn't think my readings were correct … More

Love this doctor. Care is excellent and has a terrific personality. You feel like he is really concerned about your health. Highly recommended.

Love the staff! I am always treated very nicely. There is no long wait from the moment I arrive to when I go into a room to see my doctor. Dr. Bayrakdar is the best I've seen so far for my diabetes care. I only have one complaint not about my doctor but about the office, otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars. I called the office not knowing what time they closed it was 5:09p to be exact on March 5, 2020 to schedule an appointment. Someone picked up said hello which I still went ahead and said the reason I was calling but then the women on the phone asked where I was from. I asked where I was calling and she responded back I was calling a personal phone I apologized but when I checked the number I had dialed the correct number. This was very unprofessional. Dr Bayrakdar is the only doctor that has recognized my problem immediately and took action. He has saved my life and for that I owe him a debt of gratitude! I have changed my insurance to Advocate HealthCare so that I could continue to see Dr Bayrakdar. In my opinion he is the top doc in Endocrinology and any other medical field! I can not say enough great things about him! Thank you Dr. Ammar, you are awesome! Dr Bayrakdar is the only doctor that has recognized my problem immediately and took action. Dr. Bayrakdar, is an caring and concerned physician His bedside manner and concern for the health and well being of his patients is phenomenal. He is extremely knowledge in his profession, I trust God with life, I trust Dr. Bayrakdar with my health. He is great! So is his staff.
