Dr Steinmetz is the best most caring informed doctor I have every had !
I was seeing her for a few years when I was in middle and high school. She was condescending and rude every visit. She did not take into consideration my family dynamic. She put me on a medication that made all symptoms worse and after I turned 18, she broke confidentiality and disclosed information to people who weren’t on my medical list. Have looked for a primary physician in tahoe for many years now, so glad I found her! She is wonderful! My husband also see's her and feels the same way!
Dr Steinmetz is a great doctor and she has a great staff. After 44 years of institutionalized medical care from the US Military, I am just overwhelmed by the way we are cared for. Customer/Patient service is superb. My wife and I are so happy to have found Dr Steinmetz! Our annual visits are like catching up with old friends.
Well educated, well spoken, listens!!! Explanations are in real terms that real people can understand. She takes time to understand the patient. You're not a number to be processed.
