They referred us elsewhere, but are not assisting us or following up. They refuse to return calls even after promising to do so. One time they said they would call back in a few minutes-I had to call a week later. The next time they "promised" to call right back-it is now a week later, and still nothing. I am extremely disappointed in this practice. Not friendly or efficient and I am not satisfied with the diagnosis. Now I cannot reach anyone to follow up and ask questions.

Hands down the worst doctor I have ever encountered. She walked into the room and immediately told me I was there for a completely different reason than we were referred for and wouldn't let me finish a single sentence. She acted like I knew nothing about my daughter despite me staying at home with her and being actively involved in all of her therapy. She seemed to think my daughter's therapists (3 in different one is 3 different fields) as well as her Ped and NP didn't know what they were talking about. She blamed my daughter for not being compliant with tasks that weren't appropriate for children her age (as confirmed by two therapists and her Ped). She wouldn't consider any of my input before she started talking over me and ultimately ignoring what little she may have heard. My one year old left the appointment sad and refusing to even look in her direction which is unlike her; I left frustrated for the waste of time. I had to shut down my business, get a babysitter for my other two kids, and drive 2 hours just to get there to be belittled, ignored, and to have my daughter in tears. Having dealt with many doctors and medical practitioners due to her health issues, I can confidently say this was the worst experience I've had with a doctor and would not recommend her to anyone. Dr. Hamati has been amazing to my son... He suffers from migraines and has had 5 concussions. She is very thorough and respectful. She has spent many of hours on the phone and in the office talking to me whenever we have an issue. She cares and listens to my opinions and questions. Worst doctor I've ever dealt with. She initiated by telling me I didn't know what I was talking about (what foods my daughter would eat, how many words she could say, etc) and that all 3 of her therapists were wrong as well as her Ped. She refused to let me finish a sentence, demanded my daughter perform tasks appropriate for her age and then blamed her for not being compliant; my 1yr old left in tears and refusing to even look at her. She wasted my time and money. I will see someone else.
