I love Dr. Chahlavi. He's a great surgeon and I haven't had an issues with my neck surgery.

It was my first time meeting Dr. Chahlavi. He was very professional. He made you feel at ease. He is very pleasant to talk to and listened to your questions. Waiting to have surgery is the only thing. But I know if the Dr. felt I had to get in ASAP he would have moved me up in surgery. Staff is very pleasant.

A year ago today ( 2-9-22) Dr. Chahlavi preformed a Laminectomy on my lower back. It has been a blessing! After my post op I started going back to the gym since the constant pain was now gone. I go to the gym three times a week and have lost 25 pounds. Thank you Dr. Chahlavi, you are the best!

Dr. Chahlavi takes time with you to listen to your concerns. He gives you options on your plan of care. He talks to you and not at you. Wonderful doctor.

Was rushed out Dr didn't want to hear any of my thoughts or answer questions he was not the same Dr I previously seen as far as answering questions or listen to me very disappointed

Doctor and his PA and assistant were very nice.

The staff is so nice and friendly. It was my first visit, but the first impression will have me referring anyone needing a neurosurgeon.

Dr. Ali Chahlavi is an outstanding and remarkable physician. He has restored my spine in order for me to live and move normally again. I cannot thank him and his staff enough for all they have done. I was weary at first of any surgery to the spine, but his technique is flawless, and will alter your life for the better. I encourage anyone who has any spinal conditions to contact his office. I would give him and his staff 10 stars if I could.

Awesome experience. Finally found someone willing to listen to me and help fix me. Both Dr Chahlavi and the P.A. Craig have a great bedside manner. Both are willing to listen and help you with your problems.

Dr Chahlavi is an excellent neurosurgeon, with that human touch that makes you feel confident and creates an immediate bond between doctor and patient. He was the third neurosurgeon I consulted for my back surgery, and I'm so thankful I had found him. He was very personable and empathetic, he tooks time to explains the MRI results, the medical procedure recommended and answered all my questions. I was in severe 10 pain scale for a year, and right after my surgery I felt pain relief. After 6 months of my lumbar surgery I'm still in recovery process but I can tell that it was worth it. I recommend Dr. Chahlavi and his staff 100%, they are a 5 star rating team. Guys Don’t waste your time worst experience ever !!!

I don't feel this doctor has patients best interest in mind when meeting new patients. One should not be judged by age when dealing with serious injuries. I would not recommend this doctor to any younger patients with chronic pain. Waste of time and money.

Dr. Chaleve is a great surgeon; he significantly reduced my pain. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in either the waiting room or exam room. Dr. Chaleve explains everything in an easy-to-understand language.

Very impressed with my visit.

A superb surgeon.

At first I wasn't to sure about Dr. Ali. But once we started the process of talking about my problem, and showed me on film my issue I was having I wasn't sure anything could be fixed. Then Dr. Ali told me what he could do for me to change my problem. With out major surgery. I new then that was my Doc. God is good. All the time.????

Dr. Chahlavi & his right hand man Dr Craig, are both very talented and have great knowledge about my issues. I've had 2 surgeries and both healed nicely with no issues and minimal irritation. I highly recommend Dr. Chahlavi and his entire staff.

My first visit with dr. Ali I was very impressed that upon meeting me he shook my hand. It was all so great having a face-to-face visit with this doctor and not a zoom appointment . He went over my MRI with me and explained it in detail.. answered all my questions and reassured me that they would be in full contact with me after my surgery. My last surgery a year ago was with a different doctor and hospital and I was very disappointed in their follow-up. Upon leaving he shook my hand again and reassured me they would answer all questions and get back to me immediately. I am very impressed with him and his staff. I will be scheduling surgery for the end of May this year

Accurate diagnosis and addressal of spinal related pain. Dr Chahlavi and his support staff are trustworthy and always pleasant.

I went to see my neurosurgeon again. He has done 4 major neck surgeries in the past. Dr Ali chahlavi. He is known for being the best neurosurgeon in Florida. I would refer other people to him. He ordered physical therapy for my lower back and a mri on my back.

I really liked this doctor. He took the time to explain what he found in the x-rays and MRI'S. He explained what needed to be done and how it is going to be taken care of. Very patient and understanding. Very happy with the doctor and the staff.

It has been 1 year since my back surgery. Dr Chahlavi has not only an excellent surgeon, but also very personable. He took time to answer all my questions. He and his staff took me from living with an extremely painful back and not being able to feel my left foot, to walking upright and pain free. Thank You.

I was impressed with how efficient the check in process went. I was called back for my appointment quickly and the people I interacted with behaved in a cordial professional manner. I met Dr Chahlavi soon after being taken back to an exam room. I was very impressed with him, his friendly manner, his knowledge and his ability to put me at ease. We spoke and he gave me information in an easy to understand manner and it was a stress lifting experience. I would recommend him to anyone needing a Neurologist.

Dr Chahlavi performed a TLIF procedure at my L-4-L5 level 6 weeks ago (September 2019). Everything is working out great so far and I have none of the symptoms I had been dealing with for the last 7 years. No more sciatica pain or leg numbness / tingling. Only one night in the hospital. I'm 52 and was very apprehensive, but it was unfounded and I'm very happy with the results! Update: 1 year post surgery and all has been great! Update: 2 years and 2 months post surgery. Very caring and knowledgeable. Explains everything 100%, listens carefully to my concerns etc. I would recommend Dr Chahlavi 100% to everyone; he’s the best!!

I was referred to Dr Chahlavi for ongoing back pain, weakness in my legs, and ongoing physical limitations following an accident. On my first visit he included in his notes that he was concerned about my having spinal cord compression in my thoracic spine because of my leg weakness. He ordered an MRI of my thoracic spine which showed 3 ruptured discs, one touching my spinal cord and another compressing it. I had to go see him 3 weeks later for an urgent problem with my legs tingling and significantly increasing weakness. This had happened twice in 4 days. I had the disc of my thoracic spine MRI for him to see. When he showed me the image on the screen of my spine, he very casually said, “You don’t have any ruptured discs. Look, your (vertebrae) are all lined up and look good. You need to see a neurologist to see what’s causing your symptoms.” He escorted me up to the check out desk where he said, “if your discogram (invasive procedure to definitely diagnose disc problem; done at the hospital) comes back positive come back and see me. Tell them to let you know if it’s negative or positive. If it’s negative I’ll see you sometime.” I received a copy of his office notes from that day and he had diagnosed me as having had a stroke! I’m a registered nurse and I know the signs and symptoms of a stroke. I did not have a stroke. I have serious back injuries from being rear ended. Yesterday, my legs suddenly started tingling again and my legs became so much weaker than the previous two times, I’m afraid that I’m losing the use of my legs. I’m going to see another neurosurgeon next week. I would never go back to Dr. Chahlavi. I was referred to Dr Chahlavi for ongoing back pain, weakness in my legs, and ongoing physical limitations following an accident. Dr. Chahlavi was accurate with his diagnosis of my neck/shoulder issue. His surgical precision corrected a painful condition that had plagued me for over 10 years. Seven weeks after surgery I am now virtually pain free and have a functioning left arm/shoulder. Thanks, Doctor!!!

I've had 5 back and neck surgeries. From Doctor Eric Nottmeier and my last with Chalavi. The doctors and staff are great. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I still have plate in neck and about 14 rods which has 16 pieces of metal keeping them in. My feet are now swelling. Now I see their heart doctor. I wouldn't be alive today, if it wasn't for them. I will be fixed. And they actually care. Your not just a number. Thanks to each and every one of you. From radiology,nurses to primary to the best surgeons in the country. I am new to Florida & was hesitant about new drs. I luv Dr Chchlavi! He fused four vertebrae in my neck in late February. Great surgeon — would definitely return to him if I ever have the need to.
