Dr. Tomlinson is highly professional and very thorough in his examinations. And he is very nice! I had to skip a visit due to my insurance plan, but am looking forward to returning for his eye care now that I'm covered again.

Dr. Tomlinson is very thorough and reassuring. His whole staff is very pleasant and I highly recommend his office!

Dr. Tomlinson performed cataract surgery on my eye. He did a perfect job! My vision in that eye is back to 20/20. He also has great bedside manner. I am only in my 30’s and it’s not common to have cataracts so I was pretty scared but he calmed my fears.He listens and is easy to talk to I would definitely refer anyone to see him.

Refered to Dr tomlinson for cataract removal after having more then 3 visits Dr Tomlinson recommended cataract surgery we discussed better vision and may be able to read without readers everything would be better, two months after surgery blurry distance vision now told I need glasses & possibly another type of surgery to correct I never had a distance problem before surgery not comfortable or happy with the surgery would not recommend. Yrs. ago at UNC I had a corneal transplant because of which I need an ophthalmologist close to my current address in SC. I diligently researched for a doctor based on site of her/his medical university, internship, and residency. I chose Dr. Tomlinson as the best the Myrtle Beach/Pawleys Island/Conway area. In the 7 yrs. I have been his patient, Dr. Tomlinson has proven me to be correct.

I was referred to dr Tomlinson from an emergency room visit after having a corneal abrasion I was to be there at 7 am and I live an hour away. We had difficulty finding the office and I was about 5 mins late. He was very rude to me the entire time. Antiquated office. No computers, EMR, old equipment in exam rooms. Limited scheduling times, am only. Charged for refraction in error then charged to have a refund check sent. Would not accept an emergent visit for pain and red eye, stating too busy, go to emergency room.
