If I could give 0 stars I would. I am more than one year post-op from my foot surgery with Dr. Page. She left me with permanent nerve damage/ lifelong neuropathy after cutting (almost completely severing) my peroneal nerve in not one but TWO places. Never in my pre-op did she mention to me a concern about nerve damage. After she realized the nerve damage she told me there was nothing to be done. After advocating to seek second and third opinions I learned that was untrue. I had a nerve graft surgery six months later (after battling with health insurance to get approvals) but unfortunately did not regain sensation. Two surgeons told me that they would not have handled her post care the same way Dr. Page did even if the same issue happened during operating. I was dismissed because she didn’t want to deal with me. I’m currently seeking legal guidance as I’ve been told by many that her practice and care was wrong. I know of another malpractice lawsuit pending against her right now. Sharp healthcare dropped her as a provider just a couple months after my insurance battle (where they paid 100% out of network for my $30K+ surgery because they knew Dr. Page was in the wrong). I expected her to keep me light duty, but she kept pushing that I was ready for work. Now, I’m stuck with a swollen ankle and looking for a second opinion. I thought she would have my best interest in mind, but she did not.

Dr. Page was pleasant! Knowledgeable and helpful. She offered best options for a non invasive approach.

Dr Page was recommended by another orthopedic Surgeon as one of the best foot and ankle specialist in her field. She did a amazing job on my foot. Her whole office staff is absolutely amazing. I'm in the medical field and I am 100% satisfied with my care. She is super thorough, sincere and no nonsense. Highly recommend Dr Page!

Dr Page operated on my left foot on May 19th. I have had maybe three hours of pain after the second day of surgery and beyond that have never had any pain and have also never had my foot swell up in anyway. I have done exactly what Dr Page has requested of me and in doing so have healed very quickly. I am extremely grateful for Dr Page and her staff in their support and assistance through this process. I broke my heal and was referred by another surgeon to Dr Page. Boy I got lucky. I heard she was the best now I know she is. She has a excellent bedside manner, she is incredibly thorough and my surgery results are excellent. Thank you Dr Page. Highly recommended

I had heard Dr page had no bedside skills whatsoever but decided to try her due to her academic history.... DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS DOCTOR.... EVER!!!! She is a TERRIBLE human being and a COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT doctor. Office staff is awesome but I wouldn't let Dr page treat a stuffed animal!!! This was the second time Dr Page operated on me. She was so comforting and made me feel at ease before both surgeries. I would never hesitate to use her again.

Can't give negative ratings so this is as low as I can go. COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE excuse for a human being much less a doctor!!!! I had read reviews saying she had no bedside manner but made the mistake of trying her due to her academic history.... BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!! Save yourself A lot of wasted time and RUN AWAY!!!! Staff is awesome...I feel truly bad for them to have to work with her!!! WOULDN'T LET HER WORK ON CADAVERS!!!!

I always enjoy my visits to SDSM, The office staff is always on top of it! And Dr.Page is terrific.Thank you all.

Dr. Page and the staff at San Diego Sports Medicine are my heroes!! She quickly scheduled me for surgery and provided great follow up. Thanks to Dr. Page and I am back riding my bicycle and enjoying life. Thanks to all!!

Dr. Page has been wonderful! She is patient and does a good job explaining everything. I'm always called at or before scheduled appointment time and there is very little to no waiting. Office staff is friendly and helpful.

Dr Page is always professional yet caring. She makes me feel like im in good hands . Her nurses are also very polite and experienced. The exams are always thorough.

I really appreciated the personalized care and attention I received at SD Sports Medicine. The doctor was straight forward with me about my options and the reasons for the tests recommended. The office staff/billing dept. were great as well, especially in light of my current health insurance issues. They did not make me feel like a lesser patient just because I did not have the financial means to pay out-of-pocket for the services my insurance company (MediCal) was actually responsible to pay. Dr Alexandra Page is awesome. Not only is she super intelligent (MIT, Harvard), she's also really NICE, an attribute not so commonly observed in surgeons, IMO. She got me in to see her within a few days, then surgery a few days after that. At surgery, I got a "block", and I had no feeling in my lower leg for almost two days -- no pain! I highly recommend it. If you have to break a bone, go see Dr. Page, they'll take good care of you! Dr Alexandra Page is awesome. She really cares about her patients. She’ll answer the same question 20 times in a row if she has to. Exelllent communication and really listens to her patients to try and get all the information she needs to perform at the highest level during surgery! She is awesome!

I saw Dr Page Friday and she was excellent. She took the time to explain everything even though there is no diagnosis for what I have. She gave me some solutions in case it occurs again. I just appreciated her time and professionalism. If I could make a suggestion it took a lot of phone calls leaving messages for new patient person and front desk to get a call back. Otherwise I would recommend them.

Dr. Page was very pleasant and explained everything in detail. She gave me several choices, which I really appreciated being able to make a choice that will be best for me.

I found Dr Page to be professional, personable & a great bedside manner. Available & thorough. Staff was efficient, no long waits at office. She was wonderful!

Dr. Paige is a wonderful physician. I Love her,She has taken very good care of me, she is a whiz at Toe Straightening! She will be doing another surgery on me soon. See you soon

I wasn't confident in Dr Page to take care of all of my ankle issues.

Dr. Page is thorough and knowledgeable. She explains everything in way I can understand. She listens to me and answers all my questions.

Dr Page Is fantastic! She removed a tumor from my Femur 14 years ago, and I'm still alive today because of her!!! Great follow up, professional, expert on subject matter.
