I’ve had Only one visit. The dr was knowledgeable but was trying to rush me into a spinal cord stimulator surgery after I just had one removed because it was causing me pain. Now I have run out of medication after calling the office 4 days in a row to get someone to call in my script. It is Impossible to reach the actual office. I keep getting a switchboard that has to email the office and no one responds. My own fault for choosing an HMO.

Went to see this doctor this morning, long story short I never got to see the doctor. The office staff is horrific and even that is a compliment. Their attitude leaves everything to be desired. The last straw was that they told me the doctor won’t look at the images from my MRIs (I brought the CDs). I came for injections not for drugs and didn’t feel comfortable having someone sticking needles in me without looking at the spot. I have seen 3 other doctors and they all want to see the images. Again, the office staff thought it was ridiculous to even look at them. I wouldn’t go here and I would stay away. Looks like all the other reviews are old. I’d keep that in mind. This is maybe the worst doctor you will ever see, I spent five minutes with him canceled his epidural appointment and I've been getting bills for over $7,000 he didn't do anything but talk my insurance company paid him and yet I've been getting bills mostly most recently from medical DNA labs for almost $200 totally a scam

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Tapia. After 2 nerve blocks for abdominal pain he suggested a spinal cord stimulator. He performed the surgery and saw me very regularly to calibrate the unit. Finally, after 4 years of severe pain, the stimulator worked. I’ve been pain free since August of 2018. The office staff and Doctor Tapia are great. The phone system, however, needs work. They do not receive my phone messages and I can’t get a return call.

I am going through a horrific ordeal with pain, due to several issues with my spine. I was referred to Physicians Partners of America by my Primary Doctor. I went to see Dr. Tapia in their Wellington, Florida office. Starting with Aristiema I was treated with care, patience and respect. She went out of her way to help me. Aristiema was able to get an MRI approved, for which I was turned down twice before. Dr. Tapia relieved my pain, listen to me and treated me with dignity and respect. Dr. Tapia is definitely in the top 5% of doctors with a warm bedside manor. He takes the time to speak with you and actually cares about his patients. Since my injury I have seen about 6 different doctors due to insurance changes and I found that Dr. Tapia is definitely a doctor that is worth the wait to see. The staff in the office is very courteous and actually gives you a warm feeling from arrival through departure. The wait times have gotten a lot better since i started with the clinic a year ago. The other plus is that the doctor will actually listen to your questions and actually give you an answer that you can understand. I highly recommend Dr. Tapia. He read my MRI and explained my spinal stenosis succinctly. He did not push a particular solution upon me but offered several courses of action.

Dr. Talia referred me to physical therapy I went finished an was recommended back to him by the orthopedic also was told he was leaving this month i made an appointment an was told he can't see me I'm a new patient I don't see how that could of happened when he was signing off on my therapy that just shows how he's not following up on his patients an showing no concerns I called back an they seem to say they have a new system so I was seen he doesn't explain any of my conditions or go over what medicines he's providing he offered me a shot didn't clean the injection site nor put a bandage over the site an I had to call the pharmacy to see what meds he sent when I have migraines an shoulder and neck problems an he gave me pills for migraines an an the same pill to cover my pain which they said that's minimum because the pill is mostly for migraines I'm not happy at all on how I got treated by this doctor why would he give me something to ease this pain why wouldn't he clean my site were he was goin to inject me and why would he ask me where I'm in pain when I showed him an he supposed to inject in the correct area where the pain is not were I point I would never let him touch me ever again Dr. Talia referred me to physical therapy I went finished an was recommended back to him by the orthopedic also was told he was leaving this month i made an appointment an was told he can't see me I'm a new patient I don't see how that … More

So my grandma is 71 and she goes to him. She had this epideral twice. The 3rd time she got it done afterwards the next day he back and leg had hurt worse. Now she struggles to get around her house and do things. I don't really recommend him. He made my grandma hurt worse. Thx a lot dr tapia.????????????????

Excellent physician with manners and concern for his patients. No run around and quick service. No complaints against him although I will say some improvement in manners, show of care and patience from his personal desk/phone staff is needed.

Absolutely disappointed in Dr Tapia & his entire office. Went there with a limp. After 4 paid visits he finally ordered an MRI. MRI got denied because no one put any notes in my file. They made me go back and pay again for a visit so they could document my leg pain. The MRI was denied again & now 6 months later I am still waiting for the Dr to find the time to have a peer to peer consult with the insurance. I called several times and I get the run around from the office. I will never go back

A patient should have to speak to an assistant vs talking to a doctor. Nor should the doctor prescribe something unaffordable, not covered by insurance, or ignore the fact that when "pre-approval" is needed & not contact the insurance rates for pre-approval. A patient should not have to wait 6 weeks to hear from the Dr ... I've been waiting for a diagnoses 4 months and have not even got an evaluation yet... If I approached my customers the way Dr Tapia has not approached me I would not have any work either... he is the kind of Dr. That doesn't care for his patients ... only the money he collects from insurance... 4 months of me suffering under his care is too long to hurt this much!I'm dropping him like a hot potato.
