Dr. Bazzi is the only Dr. I’m that has honestly seemed to care about my Mother and her condition, he is an excellent physician. Yuma is lucky to have him.

Don't know how this person still has his license to practice. My 87 yr old grandma went for her appointment and was made to go in by herself. Dr was rude and very full of himself. She left the office feeling worst. She's now afraid to go back to this office. Doctors are suppose to comfort their patients not stress and scare them.

Dr Bazzi is an exceptional physician. From the first appointment, he has impressed me with his knowledge and professionalism. The treatment he had me follow not only included medication, but diet and exercise. Dr Bazzi follows a whole body treatment which has kept me pain free for many years. Thank you Dr Bazzi!

I usually don't leave reviews for Dr's but this one I MUST! Everything about this Dr was wrong, he was talking more about himself and his rival than my issue or getting to know me, the patient. I am suffering from a rare autoimmune diesease VKH, it's very painful when not treated. I was put on steroids to help the flares, I was sent to Dr bazzi so I can receive an alternative medication so I can get off of the steroids since it's not good to be on steroids to long. Till this day I still don't have the medicine I need and I'm still on steroids so therefor my body is even more screwed due to the steroids.i have contacted his office multiple multiple times a week after my initial appointment and I kept calling to remind them of my meds..they kept saying we will call you. .nothing was sent to the pharmacy company I called the company my self they said my Dr has not called to create a profile for me so I can not do anything until the Dr creates the profile and sends the prescription. I don’t usually leave negative feedback, but my voice needs to be heard this time. I have NEVER experienced such a horrendous experience that I had on August 31, 2020 with Dr. Aleix Bazzi. He practically verbally attacked me as if I was incompetent because my PCP clinic that referred me to him failed to provide his office with the necessary documents as to why I had been referred to him. I had seen Dr. Bazzi previously (3 years ago) and he and I both recognized one another, but he refused to provide any type of medical care to me or even care to listen to what I had to say based on not having any sufficient evidence/documents, so therefore by his words there was nothing to talk about and the appointment was pointless. He was absolutely unprofessional and aggressively rude to me and I felt so disrespected and so belittled. I am not one that likes to admit when I am weak, but I left that examination room in tears, expressing to his front desk staff how incredibly rude and disrespectful he was to me. I immediately called my PCP clinic notifying them of this terrible occasion and that they need to reconsider not sending any other patients to him. I don’t know what I did wrong or why Dr. Bazzi was so monstrous to me, but I don’t believe I deserved the disrespect he had towards me. I’m glad others are able to receive proper medical care from him...perhaps I am too young to have my disease or he just doesn’t care for my kind, I’m not really sure, but I wish everyone else the best of luck if they are referred to his clinic. I am writing this review based on my mothers experience today in the office with Dr. Bazzi. Prior to her scheduled appointment she was running a few minutes behind and called the office to make them aware, was told to come in as soon as she could. When she arrived Dr. Bazzi scrutinized her for being late, than began to talk down to her in regards to her not remembering the names of the medications she was on. He belittled her and made her feel as though she was beneath him. After all of that he accused her of being a "pill seeker." She left his office very hurt and will be making sure to never return. Dr. Bazzi is the best ruematologist in town and he knows it. I have never met a dr. more narcissistic. I tolerated this for a few months because I was newly diagnosed and scared. My RA was not responding to treatment and we needed to move to biologics. Insurance would not cover it and Bazzi refused to do a peer to peer because it is beneath him. He instead would have ME commit prescription FRAUD in order to "play the game". Final straw...I was 5 minutes late to my appointment and called ahead. I was told he wouldn't see me if I was even 1 minute late. So I picked up my file instead. I would rather drive out to Phoenix than deal with this. Dr Bazzi is the one of the best doctors in Yuma! Yes, he at times seems arrogant or even mean as some have posted. He is all about the business, straight forward and no nonsense, maybe that appears to be arrogant to some, actually that’s what I appreciate. If you csn get past the attitude you’ll find that he’s a great doctor!!

This was one of the best consultation and Doctor visit , I have experienced. In a long time A DOCTOR THAT REALLY CARES . This Doctor takes time to listen also educates his patients treats them with empathy if need be ... But he is honest truthful to the point and wantS to help you as a patient that we of course have to help our self .... I highly recommend .....

Dr. Bazzi is amazing that it took him 2 visits to figure out my rare condition and give me the needed treatment to start feeling normal again. I've been dealing with my condition for years and didn't get the correct diagnosis in the past.

Having read the reviews prior to my appointment I was a bit skeptical about the visit but I clicked with Dr. Bazzi. He was polite, all business and I believe our time was well spent. I prepared in advance by researching my condition, anticipating what he might recommend, how I would prefer to treat my condition and back-up to support my opinion. As I expected to be quizzed about my health history and current medications, I also had documentation to specifically respond to his questions which came in rapid fire. I also volunteered actions I had proactively taken, what worked and what was still troublesome. I did challenge his initial treatment recommendation but offered an alternative and gave my reasons. I believe he appreciated my preparation and he took the time to study reference material I'd brought. We agreed on a mutually satisfactory plan and I must say, 25 minutes later I left the office excited. I'm goal-oriented and feel challenged. His staff was also extremely polite.

This review is not in reference Dr. Bazzi.... I actually gave Dr. Bazzi a wonderful review last year. However, his support staff is abrupt and rude! Not all, just the blonde with German or Swedish accent. It’s too long to write about and if Dr Bazzi would have cared he would have come out to talk to me after she huffed off to go tell him her side of the story. The new assistant is very pleasant, however I won’t be dealing with this office again. Did not know what a big deal it would be to get a copy of my office visit. Never dealt with anything like this.

Dr Bazzi has a wonderful personality! Made me feel so relaxed. He’s very knowledgeable and very funny. He went over not only my osteopenia but my chronic gastritis better than Yuma Gastro. Showed me pics of my stomach lining, gave me a diet to follow for life to keep me healthy. Gave me prescription to take to help my tummy and told me what vitamins to take to help my bones. Dr. Bazzi comes off as arrogant. He dismisses any questions or concerns about medications you may have and just says to “take them, you’ll be fine. “ If you really look, most of these raving reviews are given over a one month period In 2019. There was probably some incentive given to do so. They even sound pretty ingenuine. Especially the one about how holistic he is and how he tries to avoid meds. That was not my experience with him at all. The last visit we just had, he stormed in upset about the lab not sending him my results. I let him vent. When he started directing his anger at me when I tried asking questions about my treatment, I snapped back. He would not back down and he did not treat me in a professional or respectful manner. I understand we are all feeling stress right now, but if he was feeling angry, he should have stepped outside and regained composure before facing his patients. At the very least, apologize for blowing up! Going to the doctor is stressful enough dude..

I recently saw Dr. Bazzi and I agree with the above review that Dr. Bazzi is very full of himself. He's very abrupt. He just says take this medication and didn't explain it very well as to why I needed to take it. Evidently he is a very good doctor (not many choices in Yuma) so I will have to keep going to him unless I want to travel to PHX or SD.

Terrible "bed side manner" very full of himself and yelled at staff right in front of me. He made me feel about in inch big because his ego is so inflated. How he got into health care I'm not sure because his personal skills are not there. Every symptom I told him about he would come up with a reason instead of doing any actual medical investigation. For example, at the time my hair was falling out so he said I should buy one of those laser hair things that help regrow hair. Also said I needed to lose weight. Turns out I have PCOS after an actual Dr. Did their job correctly. I was only sent to him because I had speckled ANAs in my blood. He looked at me looked at my chart and said " why are you even here" "I'm not sure why they sent you to me ". Just to sum up, he is an A1 jerk. Once I got the help I needed I lost 30 pounds, put on the right medication and my hair has grown back.

I was called in to see Dr. Bazzi very close to my appointment time. He discussed my condition and possible treatment. He took a lot of time explaining what I could do to avoid additional medication. He is very holistic the treatment of me, which I appreciate. He is giving me the tools, it is my responsibility to use them.

The doctor doesn’t know to treat his patients, is very rude and mean. My mom has been his patient for two years, and he speaks to her in a very mean way, almost yelling her.

My grandmother was mistreated by this doctor because he was upset that her general doctor referred her to him and had her have her study done elsewhere. It is never ok to treat any human being in the degrading manner that this man treated my grandmother.

Dr Bazzi is one of the hardest working physician out there when it come to making sure my health is on track. He has a passion in this line of work and that tells me that he is the Dr for me. Dr. Bazzi has helped me more than myself, or any providers that I currently work under as Navy Corpsman. Yes, all 3 different officers I received my referrals from whom all have MD and Pa credentials on top of plethora of knowledge from active duty experience alone, all could not help me. I have been addressing a joint issue in my rib cage now for the past 3 months and have realized from seeing Dr.Bazzi that my cartilage between the right side of my sternum and rib itself is simply just mechanical pain returning from an old injury. Not only was completely all ears to everything I had to say about my symptoms, he also gave me more than a treatment plan. Dr. Bazzi has given a change of cleaner diet and natural supplement information that can help my body be stronger than it ever was, ( as long as I follow it correctly). I was hesitant at first with getting 2 steroid injections into my cartilage joint space on my chest, however he was so confident in the plan of action that I had no problem with it. Dr. Bazzi does not spend time on the chit chat of small talk, he stays on track with the reason you came to see him. Since Dr. Bazzi started me on Cimzia, I have had very few symptoms. I think he is wonderful. I waited much too long to start the biologic. Now I regret not starting it sooner. I would recommend Dr. Bazzi to anyone with arthritis, no matter what kind. D. Elliott.

My mother was seeing Dr. Bazzi in the office and she didn't look right to him. She had a droopy face to one side and he recognized that she was suffering a stroke right then and there. Immediately he gave her 2 aspirins and called EMS to taker her to the ER. After the admission, the neurologist told me that Dr. Bazzi just saved my mother's life. She recovered well and I'm grateful for his prompt diagnosis and help.

Dr. Bazzi has been my doctor since 2003 and I have since been able to live a normal life. I was diagnosed with RA in my teenage years and couldn't do the normal activities and daily functions. Dr. Bazzi found the perfect balance of medication, diet and exercise. I am so grateful to him for everything he has done for me.

Dr Bazzi is the most knowledgeable physician I have ever been treated by. My first visit with him, I was unable to walk without assistance.
