Saw his Dr.s in Harlingen TX. Had a colonoscolloscope done. Nothing was done for my hemorrhoid. 120.00 so far out of pocket. Now I have to drive to McAllen to see Dr. Pena. Next stop is a lawyer. Everything said did NOT happen

Gave me surgery wasn't informed about anything when I got out. They told me that he left no notes for them. I'm not even sure what procedures were done .

A very qualified outstanding caring doctor who cares about his patients

Doctor Pena found my issue after being seen by other doctors who did nothing for my pain . I had a fissure and he was able to fix the issue . Thank you soo much . I would recommend this doctor .

I first met Dr Pena in October of 09. With my condition and it becoming severe, surgery was my next step. Dr Pena from day one, made me feel comfortable and didn’t going around any questions I had about my surgery, he gave me straight up information. He gave me very good care and even with complications that came up, he never gave up on me. Thank goodness I did recover from my multiple surgeries and until this day, he is still there for me. I appreciate that he goes above and beyond being a Doctor. I highly recommend Dr Pena if you are in need help in this area. May God Bless this man. Dr Pena is an excellent Doctor. He guides you through everything you can expect. It's natural to be scared, but he puts you at ease. Very knowledgeable and professional.

I am not one to write reviews for just anyone, BUT let me just share this......... Dr Pena was fantastic!! I was a new patient under extreme PAIN. I had already seen another Colorectal Surgeon and received no immediate relief for my pain. My wife found Dr Pena online and made an appointment that same week. At my Appointment with Dr Pena Office his nurse staff (Edna, Belinda, Lupita and Kathleen) were all so friendly and attentive. Dr Pena sat with me listened to my plea of pain and immediately suggested to examine me. He Diagnosed my issue and resolved it that same day. Walked out with 98% no pain compared to what i walked in with. This doctor is THE rock star of colorectal cancer. I had stage 4 with my bladder being invaded. Needless to say, I was in grave shape. When Dr. Pena took my case, I felt for the first time that I had a chance. I drove from Corpus to McAllen for the privilege of seeing this doctor. As far as I’m concerned, he saved my life. I pray no one has to go through what I went through, but if you find yourself in my boots, and you want the best doctor period, then he is the doctor for you. God Bless.

My surgery went well, healing nicely. Dr and staff not very thorough in explaining post-op care. The big issue is after 2 office visits waiting over 2 hours each is BS. Office management of rack em and stack em is TOTALLY unacceptable.
