Dr Schefer is ABSOLUTELY one of the best doctors I’ve ever received treatment from. He’s down to Earth, no-nonsense and “Dr. Talk.” He’s eager to understand my issue and even more eager to explain the solution in simple terms. I am grateful to finally find a doctor who I can trust. I’ve been suffering from carpal tunnel for over fifteen years. In no time at all, he fixed it for me. I am forever grateful. I am so sorry if any of you had any negative experience with this old fashioned doctor. I simply don’t understand how?. Dr. Schefer did little to nothing to help me. I walked Into his office in exruciating pain and he went so far as to tell me its all in my head despite there being a documented injury and at least some clinical findings. He essentially called me a liar and his only advice was to go see a talk therapist, not even physical therapy. I am a musician and artist, and right now I am crippled by this injury and I have diminishing quality of life. This has caused me to slip further into depression For him to basically Just turn me away and say theres nothing he can do to help and tell me it shouldn't hurt, even though I know first hand it has been the bane of my existence and torments me day in and day out, is very disheartening. His attitude and insensitive bedside manner toward my concerns and pain is hands down the worst I've ever felt from a doctor. My case is not easy, but for him to not even be open to trying to help me, just hurts. I am going crazy because of this injury and he has offered no support. Couldnt even advise me on any methods to help treat the pain. To me it just seemed like he didnt care about my wellbeing at all. And its a horrible feeling to not even have a hope of getting better now and I fear that this will only make my injury progress due to inadequate attention and care. I'm sorry to say this. Also because from everyone ive known theyve all told me he was great. To me he has been nothing but the worst and just downright hurtful. I can't believe doctors like him exist. Dr. Shrefer has been treating my arthritic hands for approximately 5 years. I'm not ready for surgery, but when I am, he'll be perform long it.

Dr Schefer is a wonderful doctor and human being. He has both excellent knowledge and bedside manners. Five stars.

DR Schefer is incredible,he performed Basal Reconstructon, Ulner nerve release at wrist and elbow, and a Carpal Tunnel procedure, he gave me his personal cell number the night of my procedure when he called to check on me and told to call anytime. He also met me in his office on Sat his day off 1 hour after I called him with concerns about hand, (his office was closed). Highly recommend him.

The best!!

We love Dr. Schefer! My 9 year old broke her elbow and he performed the surgery. Dr. Schefer did a wonderful job explaining everything before and after surgery. He was also very patient with us throughout the entire process.

Extremely positive, warm and supportive: Dr Schefer did both hands in separate surgeries. Relief was especially important and worrisome, as I both write and am a musician. I'm very lucky to have had such talented and welcoming professionalism in my circumstances.
