I was just asking a questions then he began to yell very rude. I don't recommend this doctor to anyone.

Great place if they would get rid of the HORRIBLE office manager Bertha. She is very rude to customer as well as employees.

Was referred here by my pcp after getting shingles on my face and around my left eye. Dr. Row took his time and explained everything to me about what to expect with shingles. Fortunately my eye was unaffected and Dr Row even referred me to a dermatologist who saw me immediately after my appointment with him. Office staff and nurses were extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Row is an outstanding ophthalmologist that genuinely cares about the health of his patients. I have been a patient of Dr. Row’s for over a decade now and he has consistently exceeded my expectations in terms of the eye care that he provides. As a younger adult with unusually poor vision, I sincerely appreciate the amount of time that Dr. Row spends examining me and the thoroughness in his examination. Furthermore, Dr. Row has demonstrated how sincerely he cares about his patients by coming in during off hours and on the weekend to examine patients that are truly struggling and need his help. His dedication to his patients is unmatched and I have yet to see another doctor that so genuinely cares about their patients like Dr. Row does. I have seen Dr Row for years and so has my family. He spends plenty of time with me and answers all my questions. His staff is very kind and helpful.

Dr. Row has taken care of all my family for years. He is very kind and compassionate.....exams are done very professionally and he always takes time to be sure all our questions are answered and issues are addressed.

I am Dr. Row's patient for over 25 years. Over these years I have seen him dozens of times for my eye care needs. He is very knowledgeable, keeps up with new research and technology, and works very hard to provide a professional and courteous care. Yes, sometimes he is running behind a little, but some patients require more time than others and I understand that. He is an M.D. specializing in Ophthalmology, so most of the time patients come with major issues and not just for a basic vision prescription, and they may take longer to care for. So I rather wait a little for my eye doctor than cut short on the care I need. A few times, he even has called me after hours to go over my charts and guide me to care for my condition. Dr.row always goes through everything so thoroughly and is always ready to answer any questions I may have. He always has a great staff that is always friendly.

Dr Row is great. Very friendly and gets you through pretty quickly. The reason I gave three stars is that when I called the front desk to get my glasses prescription faxed, the front desk lady was very rude. Overall a good experience though.

Dr. Row's concern for the patient exceeds expectations. He takes extra steps to be sure that he has considered every possibility as to what is wrong, and he pursues medical questions and makes referrals as he feels appropriate. He explains things thoroughly and describes his plan for your health, so you know exactly why you are having a test or treatment. He is compassionate as well as conscientious and sees the patient not just as a set of eyes but as a person of worth and complexity.

Thorough, compassionate, excellent listener, honest and diligent in diagnosing an treating my eye issues. Wish I had found him 6 years ago. I have been seeing him 2 years and have referred others who called to tell me how satisfied they were.

Dr. Alan Row has treated my eyes since 2010. He discovered and treats my advanced glaucoma. I've been in his office countless times. He is the finest eye doctor I've known after a lifetime of bad eyes and many fine doctors. He is meticulous, smart and very tuned in to his patient's needs! Dr. Row keeps himself up to date and on the cutting edge of ophthalmology. I respect and trust his treatment and recommend his services highly to anyone! -Sam Shaw

Great doctor! He did a very through examination of my injured eye, and though he was fairly certain there was nothing wrong, he went out of his way to call a retina specialist and got me an appointment with him the same day just to be sure. Friendly nurse staff as well.

Dr. Row is a wonderful physician. He explains things simply and takes time to teach the patient. He genuinely cares about his patients. Dr. Row has even called me while he was on vacation when I was having an acute eye concern.

I have been a patient of Dr. Row since he began his practice in Lubbock in the early 1980’s. I have always found him to be an exceptional doctor. In all the years & visits to his office, I have always felt that no matter how full his day might be, the care for me, personally and my vision was the most important thing at that time. Dr. Row is a superb healthcare provider with a passion for giving his patients his very best.

Dr. Row takes care of my eyes and the eyes of my family. I’ve referred him to my wife and her parents and my children. The wait to see him can be long, but he takes time examining and instructing each visit. Dr. Row is thorough and exacting. He has called to check on me and my wife following each visit. He cares about me, and I trust him implicitly.

I am Dr. Row's patient for over 20+ years (in fact my wife and my daughter are also his patients) and I visit him every year for my eye exams. My personal experience is very good. He is friendly, very knowledgeable, and provides an excellent service. When he steps in the exam room, it seems he has read his charts/notes on me, remembers my previous medical issues and checks my eyes thoroughly. His office is very clean and staff is very attentive. I was recommended to him by a friend.

I waited over 2 hours. The front office staff member was very rude. She also was talking on the phone in Spanish to her family the entire time I was there. When the doctor would come into her area she would pretend it was a pateint, very disrespectful. The nurse who pulled me back told me he sleeps in his office and overbooks patients. When he came in he did a quick exam and told me I had glaucoma and needed extra testing. I am 38 years old, got a 2nd opinion and I do not have glaucoma. Quack.
