I saw this doctor for debilitating pain and he was rude and dismissive. What a huge disappointment. He said people have to wait for months to see him (I know!) He told me there was nothing he could do for me and I shouldn't even be there! Since I'm fat, he told me the lumps in my muscles are fatty tumors. Wrong! My current PCP was like, "Your muscles have huge knots in them!" Yep. I also wanted him to serve as my back-up doctor for disability. He refused to fill out the form. Thankfully I already had two CARING AND ATTENTIVE doctors who did that for me! I've been on disability and unable to work since 2010 so I didn't need this guy at all. He was completely uaeless. Very thorough, very knowledgeable rheumatologist. One of the best!

My 1st time seeing Dr. Jacobson was a huge success! Advocate is so lucky to have him. I loved his nurse assistant too. She was so sweet. Dr. Jacobson already read my labs ahead of time. He wrote down all the details before we even met so he could be prepared. That was huge for me because he truly did his homework 1st. He didn't rush our appointment and I felt he listened to me. He was a kind doctor and you can tell you sincerely cares about your health. He is extremely knowledgeable and educates his patients. I loved my 1st experience with him. Great rhemtologist.

Dr Jacobson is very knowledgeable and detail oriented. He is one of the best doctors I've seen in years. I highly recommend him if looking for a Rheumatologist.

Dr. Jacobson is a really great doctor. He is an honest doctor that works with his patients in all aspects (from appointment scheduling through listening to details of your ailments). And the thing I like most is he really cares about his patients.

He is a nice doctor, but his methods I don't agree with. He took me off a medicine cold turkey that I had been on for quite a while. It was helping e more than I realized. However, he didn't like the combo of cymbalta and changed my wellbutrin to a different form of it., so he just had me stop. BIG MISTAKE!!! I had bad problems with my left leg after a while and my depression worstened. Him and I didn't see eye to eye on how to treat me so we parted ways. Thanks to my psychiatrist putting me back on cymbalta, I'm doing much better. This doctor was not for me. He is a nice doctor, but his methods I don't agree with. Dr. Jacobson (& staff) are very thorough and act in a very caring manner.

He's very thorough, and he takes the time to explain my test results, and my treatment plan.

I absolutely love him as a doctor and a person. Cares about his patients and has a good heart. He explains things so you understand and he never gives up on you.

Great Experience with Dr Jacobson!!

I have been Dr. Jacobson's patient for years. I find him to be very personally invested in my healthcare and very responsive when I have questions or need to be seen. He has stayed late to get me in to give me a cortisone shot and understands the specific needs of RA patients.

I think he is good and thorough! I was seeing another rhuematologist that I was not impressed with for many reasons. I am glad I switched and have confidence in Dr. Jacobson. I wish I would have started out with him as my doctor when I was diagnosed with RA in May.

Dr. Jacobson - one of the hardest working doctors that I ever seen. Not to mention, that he is very personable, knowledgable and caring.

I am a 70 year oId female who has been been going to Dr. Jacobson for several years to treat my Lupus (SLE) and Fibromyalgia. He is very thorough in checking test results which I do quarterly. He makes sure I have the correct medications and enough to last until the next visit. Dr. Jacobson answers my questions and tells me what to expect with certain drugs or physical problems I may be having. He is kind and courteous and I highly recommend him as a Rheumatologist.
