Turkish Doctor’s pass the most difficult exams and get granted to being a MD after a very very excellent education. . And that’s why, I recommend Dr Akin , and many of turkhis DR’s. They are the best ones no thought !

Miami transplant institute and Jackson memorial hospital, are the greatest! My 2-year-old son had a very rare tumor that was found in his liver and bile duct, in late March. I met with the transplant team in April, and my son was already having surgery on May 1st! Dr. Tekin my son's surgeon is very honest and does not sugarcoat anything, he will be very straight forward which as a parent that’s what I wanted, honesty! I assure you he is the best of the best, from my personal experience ! Dr. Tekin also treats his patient with so much love, always with a smile on his face! dr.Tekin, and his team, were extremely informative every single step of the way! Always there to answer any concerns! They are with you every step of the way !!! EVERYONE in MTI have been so attentive during this journey. Doctors and nurses are very knowledgeable, and compassionate! . Communication, when I had a question or concern Caroline Almay Smith, the nurse practitioner who was the one I would always reach about any question . was just a call and email away, she was truly an angel because of her I think I had so much peace of Mind! She was truly amazing, very heartwarming, and treated us like family !! Surgery! My son was admitted to the hospital day before surgery, after you get admitted Tekin and his team go see you to answer any questions! Day of surgery My sons surgery was 6 hrs long! Nurses in the surgery room were constantly calling me every hour to give me an update on how everything was going ! You can imagine as a parent how anxious you feel, so they made sure to constantly update you! Recovery at the hospital! Jackson memorial hospital PICU, Transplant floor. JMH HAS the best of the best nurses, they treated my son like their own baby, very knowledgeable, and heartwarming. My son Liam was so blessed to have such a great recovery team !! 10 days down and my son is doing amazing he is Having a smooth recovery and is running around already!! Dr. Tekin and his team are absolutely amazing. My 5 year old underwent a major surgery with him in Early June and he was very attentive to her while in the hospital. He has also remained extremely accessible to us after discharge considering we live 3 hours from Miami. I would recommend him with out a second thought!!

I am very happy and grateful for my surgery, and of course because dr tekin was my surgeon. He is wonderful.

Dr. Tekin and his team are extremely professional. Besides being superbly skilled, he has excellent bedside manner, compassion, and keeps his patients and their families informed every step of the way. He is not only present in times of surgery, but constantly does pre and post follow ups. Dr. Tekin is a model doctor, the best,who provides execellent quality of care.Thank you Dr.Tekin.

My husband and I searched for the best surgeon for our 6 year of daughter after getting a scary diagnosis a few months ago. We decided to go with Dr. Akin Tekin. He has made my daughter healthy again! These people work miracles. He and his group took such great care of her post op as well. I would easily recommend him to anyone.
