Dr. Akaluck Thatayatikom

"Dr. Ben" Thatiyatikom has seen my daughter for several years now. When specialists in our area couldn't dx my daughter they referred us to him. He has texted me after hours and on weekends to check on my daughter or to determine next steps in determining her very elusive diagnosis. I could not have asked for a better doctor during a very scary time. His appointments were always thorough and he listened to our concerns and even brought in doctors from other specialties to fully treat our daughter. He was determined to leave no stone unturned in finding answers. He is a very caring and patient doctor and I would highly recommend him!

The most amazing doctor on the planet. My son had been in terrible pain for years and no one could diagnose him. He was in-patient at Nemours in Orlando when Dr. Thatayatikom came in, spent two hours with him, and properly diagnosed him. That was 6 years ago and thanks to this caring and excellent Rheumatologist my son is in remission and pain free. As other major health problems happened he helped us maneuver the matrix at UF Shands (3 hours away from us where he now practices and teaches) and got us the very best specialists and care. EVERYONE need a doctor like, Doctor BEN! He's is so amazing. He goes out of his way to make me feel HEARD! He has been by our sides no matter what and even when I didn't like some of the RULES he has made us follow to get these answer (no steroids and no motrin) they got us here. HE got us here! I got us here! We are an amazing team and in all honesty find a doctor where you are NOT just a number and you are actually a PERSON

100% would recommend. After years of my son being in pain, Dr. Thatayatikom correctly diagnosed him in less than an hour. Tests confirmed the diagnosis. The doctor has been treating my son for 5 years, and his condition has improved remarkably. This doctor will call you after hours and speak for an hour or more to give you information. He is caring as well as excellent.
