He was awful. He diagnosed my peripheral neuropathy and then said sorry there is nothing I can do for you. What is the point of a diagnosis if you have nothing to help the patient.. in his video he talks about a future cure but has nothing to suggest to help you live with your diagnosis . He takes great pride in diagnosing peripheral neuropathy.What a waste. He is cold and very uncaring. Please find someone else to help you. Most disappointing appointment I have ever had in my life
Don’t bother trying to make an appointment. You will not get a call back. I tried three times. I finally got a surely office assistant return my call after my last call. My third message said - fine, if Dr Hoke is so busy he is not taking appointments, just call me and let me know, I will find another doctor. I explained, nicely, what my issue was. I have a unique nerve issue that presents itself like shingles but it keeps returning. I have been in excruciating pain for three weeks. I saw a neurologist who has been practicing for 30 years. He did not know what is causing my nerve issue. Dr Hoke was referred to me. The surly assistant asked to have my test results faxed. They were faxed and of course no call back. It is a simple matter of common courtesy, I don’t care how busy this office is. Don’t bother trying to make an appointment. You will not get a call back. I tried three times. I traveled from nyc to Baltimore for a second opinion from Dr. Hoke and was very impressed with his pleasant manner and his expertise in Peripheral Neuropathy. I feel I got answers to the many questions I had about my condition and helpful advice on treatment for it. I highly recommend him.
