Knowledgable doc but doesn't listen to patients well and got my diagnosis wrong.
Awful. Treated my husband in in-patient psychiatric facility at Beaumont. Refused to meet with me for family interview until right before he was discharged. Dismissed my concerns about his phyical and mental abusiveness, telling me that was a "domestic issue." Would not tell my husband he is bipolar or put that in his chart due to fear of upsetting him, even though she prescribed him medications that are really only give for bipolar. Belittled me, coddled him. Condescending and rude.
Saw her in the hospital. She is hard to understand. Had a jealous ex boyfriend claim I claimed I was "suicidal" ( I was NOT). I was actually sent to the hospital because I had a syncope episode that mimicked seizures and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I admitted to postpartum depression that I was seeing a psychiatrist weekly for on an outpatient basis, because I had lost a child in my second trimester. Beaumont Royal Oak then held me under an involuntary psychiatric hold. TERRIBLE
