Adrian J Curnow

Back in 1995 we had a daughter who had total colonic Hirschsprung’s Disease (basically it means her large bowels were dead). She was in surgery at 3 weeks old with still no diagnosis. Curnow, upon hearing about her case over the phone immediately suspected her pathology—all this over the phone—had the surgeon immediately begin biopsies to test his theory. He was right. Needless to say, he performed all of the subsequent surgeries to keep our daughter alive and her bowels functioning as normally as possible. I’m so grateful for his acute knowledge of medicine and how to apply it. He listens to the caretakers of the children who come to him. I always felt like valued my opinions and interpretations when I’d tell him of a new symptom, or had a question. He never made me feel stupid or undereducated about my child’s condition. On the contrary. I felt like he was taking notes on a disease not many people knew about. I highly recommend him.

He was knowledgeable and fast. He did my sons appendectomy. The follow up visit was smooth and fast.

We found out that our son had to have a surgery at 1 day old. Dr. Curnow came to my hospital room and took the time to explain to me everything that was going on and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. He assured us he would care for our son like he was his own family and I feel that he really did. Dr. Curnow is professional and yet personable, his bedside manners are exceptional. No one ever wants their newborn to have to have surgery but I’m so grateful that Dr. Curnow was his surgeon and would highly recommend him.

We brought our 2 yr old to Dr. Curnow to have a dermoid removed. After the examination, the surgery was scheduled for the following week. We received a full explanation of the procedure & what to expect post-op. A week after the surgery, we returned to have the stitches removed. Dr. Curnow was very gentle & our 2 yr old did not even flinch. We were very satisfied with the treatment received from Dr. Curnow.

In a nutshell, Adrian Curnow saved my sons life. There’s not enough paper or cyber space in this world for me to express my love and gratitude for this man. He explains things in a way that you understand and is to the point and honest from the get go. His bedside manner and compassion is unlike any other I’ve ever experienced with a surgeon. I tell people all the time that I would adopt him to my family if I could! ????

He is wonderful and I have all the confidence in him. He explains everything very well and takes the time with you. He did a surgery on my son which healed amazingly well. He is very nice and so is the staff. I know he must be exhausted from all his hard work!!!

Fantastic doctor and skilled surgeon who really cares about his patients and involving them in the planning process for treatments. He is a patient and compassionate doctor with kids and explains the treatment plans and surgery plans in a way that is well understood without being scary. He is always on the cutting edge with new post surgical pain reduction and treatment techniques. Best pediatric doctor and surgeon you can get in the area.

Son had emergency appendectomy

Dr Curnow and his staff are so awesome! They took care of every one of my daughters needs. His concern for children and making them feel comfortable is unmatched and he never hesitates in putting the patient first. He is a blessing and I thank God for him.

There is not enough space to explain what Dr. Curnow, and his staff means to our family. He did what no other Doctor could for our daughter. She is a Junior in high school now and is preparing her path to enter medical school to become a Doctor. Dr Curnow is the reason she choose this. We are thankful everyday he and his staff was brought into our lives. His name is Dr. Superhuman Curnow in my phone, he truly is that amazing and very humble.

He listen to your concerns as the parent he’s very compassionate to his patients and is willing to think things through and does his homework before just jumping into surgery.

I recommend Dr. Curnow 100%. Wonderful bedside manner, very kind and approachable. Scheduling was quick and easy. Love this MD and his staff!

Amazing Doctor!! Can't say enough positive things

Dr Curnow loves his patients more than any doctor ive ever met. He literally saved my grandsons twice. Most sincere God loving man!
