Mr. Adam D Wagshul

We were advised by this orthopedic group to go see Dr Wagshul in his Warren office to have my wife’s foot evaluated. Unfortunately my wife ran 15 minutes late since we live at a distance but the Warren location is where the next available appointment was so we had to take it. She contacted the doctor’s office to let them know due to being unfamiliar with the area combined with morning traffic, she was running 15 minutes late, and was advised by the receptionist that Dr Wagshul has a strict policy regarding late patients and would not be able to see her if she arrived more than 10 minutes late. My wife pleaded explaining the situation and requested help but was advised to turn around and either come back at 3 PM or reschedule to another day. My wife again tried to plead with the receptionist that she has other conflicting doctor’s appointments and was only two minutes away from the office which took her 90 minutes to get to but the receptionist advised her the doctor would not see her. This wasted three hours of my wife’s time while she was unwell with foot pain while having to endure a significant commute and traffic delays. Given the normal wait times at this group’s other offices which we have been to, even if she arrived on time, I’m sure Dr. Wagshul would have made her wait for longer than 15 minutes. It’s surprising that his office could not extend the same courtesy or empathy to my wife who needed it. Cannot speak to Dr, Wagshul’s ability to treat, however given the lack of empathy- I would suggest finding another medical professional.

Dr Wagshul is the best! Professional and fixed my very broken leg. Great office as well. Can't say enough good things about them!

Dr Wagschul was my mother's Orthopedist and performed two surgical hip events with very successful results. He is now my select orthopedic doctor who reviewed and advised me after a knee injury.

Dr. Wagshul performed a very complicated Olecranon/Distal Humerus surgery in January of 2022. He made me fully aware of the components of the surgery, and made me fully aware of the post-operative therapy that would be required. Dr. Wagshul has provided very thorough and helpful recommendations for physical therapy progression, as well as periodic x-rays to monitor the healing process, which has been excellent. A year later, I have excellent range of motion and function in my elbow. I have been able to return to a normal way of life. I highly recommend Dr. Wagshul without any reservation.

Dr Wagshul is bar far the best doctor! He is so compassionate and he listens. I feel so great when I leave his office. I had a bad accident and he motivates me to get better and understands my anxiety around my injury, Thanks Dr. Wagshul!!!!

Terrible bedside manner.

Doctor Wagshul performed surgery on my left hallux. It's been over 2 years since the bone spur was removed. Occasionally, there is some tenderness at the incision point which is to be expected and has diminished over time. The scar is negligible. Dr. Wagshul patiently and thoroughly explained the options and possible treatments rectifying the bone spur. If my future needs call for orthopedic intervention, I would happily consult with Dr. Wagshul. I have recommended him to any and all that request an orthopedic referral.

We love Dr. Wagshul . He is great. Sadly the staff at 95 Madison are the rudest I ever seen. Is pathetic how rude they are. There is barely any parking. So I had to wait for parking I come up and they are like you can’t go in any longer . You are late now.

I'm in my 60s and broke my ankle in a couple places after I stepped in a hole while running. Unfortunately, over the decades I've had several broken bones during a physically active (and competitive) recreational life and I've had those injuries casted with various results, including some loss of some mobility. Dr. Wagshul said he could put a cast on my ankle but he also kind of pulled me into the realm of modern orthopedic surgery and strongly recommended a plate and screws so that I could continue all my many, usual physical activities. It was a four-month rehab in total with P.T. (walking gingerly in about two months) but thank goodness I listened to Dr. Wagshul. Everything went swimmingly and within six months I was skiing, running, playing golf and doing whatever I wanted without any issues at all (other than a scar). Dr. Wagshul accurately predicted my every step and happy outcome. Great surgeon, great at explaining and answering questions. I could not have asked for more.

I had an excellent experience with Dr Wagshul and his office. I suffered tibia/fibula fractures in a ski accident about 5 months ago, requiring surgery. I am now well on the way to full recovery. Dr Wagshul very thoroughly described the options and procedures, as well as the steps to take to improve the outcome. He was very considerate of my mental state along the way as I processed the injury, need for surgery and recovery process. Dr. Wagshul is great! I had a bad Colorado ski accident and suffered a fractured tibial plateau, requiring surgery just as the pandemic hit. I received 1st rate care from Dr. Wagshul and his team. My post surgical questions were answered promptly. 8.5 months later, I have healed completely, with a beautiful, hardly noticable 7 inch scar to show for it. Dr. Wagshul is an amazing surgeon. I broke my foot in half a year ago and due to Dr. Wagshul's knowledge and expertise with the type of injury (lisfranc fracture) and what was needed (pins, screws, plates, and fusion), after one year I have regained so much functioning and have minimal to no pain on a regular basis. I can't say enough about him.

After badly hurting my ankle in a game of pickleball I called the next morning, and although the calendar was very full, the doctor made room given my pain level. The staff is outstanding - from the scheduler to the medical assistants. They went out of their way to help me get up and down and even came and got me in a wheelchair as walking through the parking lot was too much. Dr. Wagshul was extremely through and professional.

Great orthopedist ... I had an ankle injury.

Dr Wagshul in Morristown Is fabulous. I broke my heel and strained my ankle in the process. I was told I’d never walk normally again by another doctor. I switched doctors and Dr. Wagshul got me my life back 100%. I highly recommend.

Dr. Wagshul's staff are wonderful. Dr. Wagshul takes his time to explain all of the options open before surgery. He explains every step and I never felt confused pre or post surgery. I highly recommend.

Very professional and caring surgeon. He repaired my leg after a terrible fall. I am now back to my normal activities thanks to his wonderful care.

Dr Wagshul gave me excellent care after I broke my leg. He was conservative and cautious, but concerned and always willing to listen.

Beyond caring and amazing surgeon.

I am an Orthopedic RN who sustained a complex fracture to my 5th metatarsal during a fall. I chose Dr Wagshul, a highly skilled foot and ankle specialist, to provide my care. The surgical procedure and the subsequent after care went very smoothly, and have since returned to full duty on a busy Orthopedic/Trauma unit. Dr Wagshul and his office staff were unfailingly professional, pleasant and kind. I couldn't be more satisfied with the entire experience.

My 12 year old daughter broke her Talus bone. We went to two orthopedic doctors. Both said that they are not familiar with that kind of break and would not be the best choice for taking on my daughter as a patient. Eventually we were recommended to Dr. Wagshul. On a Friday afternoon last summer (2017) Dr. Wagshul's office fit us in for an evaluation. From that point on we were in qualified hands. Dr. Wagshul was thorough, detailed, and always willing to explain. I highly recommend him.

I visited Dr. Wagshul with a lumbar strain. The pain is so intense that I can barely walk. The nurses and support staff were sympathetic and helped me move around. Dr. Wagshul lacked empathy and the interaction felt rushed. He was gone before I knew it. After struggling to my car, I realized he did not prescribe pain meds. I called to request them and was told no. So here I am, in excruciating pain, because I had a bowel movement and had to struggle for 30min to wipe. But no pain meds for me...

Dr.Wagshul performed emergency tibial plateau surgery. I have completed a year of follow-ups and am now discharged. I could not have asked for a better doctor or staff. Dr. Wagshul gave me all the time I needed at each visit to ask many questions. His answers and explanations were clear and direct. He never made me feel rushed. His staff was kind, friendly and helpful. My knee is completely healed and the scar can hardly be seen. I consider myself lucky to have had him on duty that day.

Dr. Wagshul performed Achilles and calf surgery on my left leg and after recovery I am back 100%. So grateful for his expertise and surgical performance that gave me back full mobility

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Wagshul. He performed left ankle surgery on me 5 months ago and the result has been fantastic. I am very satisfied with the outcome and would recommend Dr. Wagshul to anyone who needs a top notch Orthopedic physician. He is the best!

My grandma fell down and had a very terrible femur fracture and was admitted to the ER in our town. The orthopedic surgeon from my town is known for taking on hard cases but said even this was too much for him. So they called Morristown to transfer her over to see a doctor who could handle the case. Dr. Wagshul was the doctor on call and the doctor who would be taking the case and he denied her help because it was Easter. She had to wait a long time for another hospital. She's in a lot of pain.

Dr. Wagshul's staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. I didn't have to wait too long but the waiting area was very comfortable. Dr. Wagshul is very knowledgeable and explains things in way that is understandable and clear. He's very personable and listened to what I had to say. We discussed a plan of action that was sensible and agreeable to me. I appreciated his compassionate manner and the time he took with me to make sure I understood everything about my condition. I am satisfied.

He was kind, helpful and direct. I was able to become fully functional after surgery, and recover far faster, with less pain, than I had ever expected! The entire staff is very willing to provide you with the best care that they can give.
