This anesthesiologist took it upon himself to spend an hour trying to convince our family that our child should not be treated. That she should be sent home to die, based only on her diagnosis. His attitude was uncaring, unfeeling and arrogant. He made sure to mention 'futility of care' and 'cost of care' when speaking about the care of our child. This was the single worst experience with a physician I have ever had in the 22 years I have been caring for children. Deplorable and in my opinion, unethical.
