Would most definitely recommend Dr. Short, him and the team do a great job with surgery’s.

Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic, West is a great place. The staff are friendly and professional. Doctor Adam Short is a miracle worker. He has great bedside manners and takes the time to listen to his patients. Highly recommend Dr. Short and all of the staff at Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic for your orthopedic needs.

I was referred to Dr Short by a coworker. He spoke very highly of Dr Short so I scheduled an appointment. He was informative, very professional, and spoke in terms I completely understood. His nursery Hailey is wonderfully prompt and does to the letter exactly what she says she'll do. Even if they're seeing patients past 5pm. She'll contact you if you left her a message. Dr. Short is very thorough and compassionate. He always goes above and beyond to deliver the best care to his patients. He thinks outside of the box and is up to date on many new procedures. Dr. Adam Short at KOC is very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. Took time to explain injury, and therapy. Very satisfied and found all the staff at KOC to be friendly as well.

Dr Short removed bunion and corrected toes to lie flat and straight, excellent results. Excellent professional attention and compassionate concern.

This clinic is great they took care of our youngest son when he was a small boy and now that he is grown. Dr.Short is a great doctor answered all questions took his time with us he is a Great person & doctor. We highly likely him to anyone.

Dr. Adam Short and his nurse Haley are awesome professionals in the field of orthopedic care for my foot and ankle. I had a terrible injury involving breakage of both sides of the same ankle , the top of that same foot and two toes on that same foot. After six months of healing all but the top of the foot had healed and I was still having pain and a great deal of swellling. Dr. Short was determined to get to the cause of it. He found through a cat scan that the plate was not in its place correctly and scheduled surgery right away. He replaced it with a heavier grade plate and just after 6 weeks it looks and feels wonderful!!!! I had excellent care from Dr Short & the office staff was great!

The entire staff was very professional and friendly. Dr Short explained my diagnosis and the treatment in a way I could understand. I highly recommend KOC and Dr Short.

Hands down I wish I would of went here first. After two years of fighting a problem with my foot Dr. Short saw me and with in two weeks we had a solution. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and addresses them accordingly. He doesn't come in the room rushed to get out to get to the next patient.

Visit was with Dr Short. He's excellent! Very patient, takes as much time as you need and answers all questions. I highly recommend.

Was very happy with Dr. Short...showed concern and told me what to do to make my ankle heal better. Kudos, Dr. SHORT!!! Have a bone problem.....go to KOC!!!

On behalf of my minor child, we had a great experience. Dr. Short took adequate time to show and explain things to my daughter, and make sure she understood everything. He is very professional, yet friendly and makes sure the patient feels welcome and comfortable.

I've only been there once but my one experience was very good. The staff was professional and direct. They moved me through the process and to the exam room pretty quickly. The only negative thing I could say is I did sit in the exam room for a long time, like 30 or 45 minutes, but when the doctor did arrive he was incredible. He was very caring, quickly put together a plan of action and made me feel very good about the future. And to be honest my weight and exam room probably felt longer because I was in pain so it it could have been 20 minutes. Also the place was packed when I got there so for me to get seen that quickly and to be in and out in a couple hours probably is pretty good. I really appreciate Dr. Short and his staff. They did a great job attending to my needs.

Very professional staff they care about their patients. My advice this is a busy practice make appointments early as to get in a timely manner . Even during their busy times they make sure their patients aren’t rush during their appointments. They give you their time and attention.

I had a Displaced Trimalleolar Ankle Fracture which means I broke my ankle in three places. I had to have surgery right away. Dr. Short was very knowledgeable and answered every question that I had. He was confident that he could do the surgery well even though my injury was so severe. His confidence put me at ease. My experience with KOC was very good, my Doctor was very knowledgeable about my problem, he offered different solutions before having to do surgery.

Dr. Short gave me my life back. He’s an amazing doctor and I would highly recommend him. His staff also do a great job of assisting you with whatever they can help you with!

Knoxville Orthopedic Center is outstanding. They have performed two knee replacements, one rotator cuff repair, and hand surgeries. One year ago, Dr. Short replaced my left ankle. All surgeries were effective and relieved pain. Dr. Short has done several follow up appointments with me and my ankle is doing great. I would highly recommend them! I fell back in September 2020. I went to visit doctor Short, he stopped my Therapy before I finished with all of my sessions and he told me I don’t have anything anymore even though I told him I still have pain and I wasn’t able to walk comfortably. I mentioned that I would love to be able to wear high heels in the future since I was having the boot for such a long a time. He ask me how old I was? and told me that I don’t need to wear heels anymore . I’m not sure how that made me feel. Now I’m here, months later, with the pain getting worse and worse each day. Dr. Short performed foot surgery on my. I had a great experience and he did a very good job in reconstructing three of my toes. I would highly recommend Dr. Short if you are need of any type of foot surgery.

I saw Dr. Short (at KOC in Knoxville, TN) for what he diagnosed as a sprained ankle today. He spent time to explain the diagnosis and what I should do to help it heal completely. He was thorough, kind and gentle with manipulation of my ankle. I will gladly recommend him to anyone that needs a foot and ankle guy.
