I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr Kruse. He’s my doc as well as my son. I find that he actually listens to what I say and how I’m feeling. Not only is he amazing but so is his fabulous nurse Coleen.

Within the first five minutes of meeting this Dr. he was rather insistent that I let him do a pap smear, something I wasn't comfortable with at all since this was literally our first visit and first time meeting to establish care. Who pushes that on someone?? He ignored half the things I brought up that I wanted to talk about at the physical. It's been ten days and he still hasn't bothered to call with blood test results, despite telling me both Friday and today (Monday) that he would call. I have anxiety. His office staff called me Friday to say that my "ANA" was high in the blood test result. When I asked what this meant, the girl couldn't answer and just kept repeating that it was high, then got flustered when I insisted that I need to know what that means. If you google "high ANA" the results are terrifying. She told me on Friday that Dr. Kruse would call me back. He didn't. Today I've called three times. The first time they said he'd call back. The second and third time they literally HUNG UP ON ME. Adam Kruse is the worst doctor I've had in a very, very long time. He has no consideration for his patients' mental health, or the fact that having untrained staff call me with vague test results that could mean cancer has had my anxiety through the roof for going on four days. This is wreaking HAVOC on my mental health. DO NOT SEE THIS DR IF YOU HAVE ANXIETY. Or if you like to have a more personalized and collaborative approach to your care. Or if you like any kind of continuity of care. He offers none of these things. I have had great care with Dr. Kruse and the staff at Wuakee. I am a 63 year old engineer and consider him thoughtful, understanding, willing to listen and discuss options. His staff has shown good skills drawing blood out of a fat old man with hard to find veins. They all have been timely in reporting testing, getting scripts into the pharmacy and other communications. When changing insurance the first thing I checked was to see that Dr. Kruse was listed. I am happy. I have had great care with Dr. Kruse and the staff at Wuakee. My visit with Dr Kruse was the best ever. He spent time with me and explaied how he was going to take care of me with my post Covid issues. I really liked his respect for me. Therefore, I am switching doctors to be under his care. My son and his family are also under his care. Would highly recommend him.

Dr. Kruse has been my primary care physician for about 8 years. I am a somewhat fat old man with some arthritis and pre-diabetic. He has helped me manage my arthritis and pre-diabetes while encouraging me to get more exercise. (which I have done) I have found him very competent for my conditions. He listens well, does not over-prescribe meds, will consult with other doctors as required without sending me to a specialist all the time. He speaks in plain English and explain things well. His staff in Waukee and Pleasant Hill are compitent, polite and helpful. They can even find veins to draw blood from a fat man without excess pain. I've seen no reason to change doctors.

I find that Dr Kruse listens well and explains why he feels something is necessary. I'm retired now and I will continue with him as a primary care physician.

Today was my first visit with Dr Kruse and I found him to be an excellent listener and genuinely have your entire medical well being at heart, the entire team he works with there is friendly and show they care.

I followed Dr. Kruse here from Mercy Urbandale and the care is 2nd to none. Dr. Kruse is compassionate and takes his time to listen. I never feel like I am being rushed through an exam. He has seen my kids for acute issues as well and they enjoy coming to see him even though I normally take them to the pediatric clinic. He is very personable and has great "bed-side" manner. I have recommended him to my family, friends & co-workers and they all rave about him as well. As long as he is around we wont go anywhere else! Im comfortable here and am treated well. Comfort is huge....Dr Kruse is good stuff!

Dr. Kruse helped my son when he had to get shots. He was fun and cheerful and energetic and completely distracted my son from the fear of the shots. He's a fun and warm person, making it easy to interact...and very approachable. Going to the doctor is never fun, but he made the experience seem like it was!

I followed Dr. Kruse from Mercy Urbandale. He is a wonderful, compassionate doctor and I've always been very impressed with his treatment. I have recommended him to several family members and friends and they've all thanked me because they all love him. He is also great with my kids. Highly recommend for any of your health care needs!

Proclaims to manage medicine with his patients, but listens and makes decisions not regarding side effects of the medicine told to him on a regular basis. This is dangerous with any kind of prescription medicine and it is why I would not recommend Dr. Adam Kruse to anyone.

I asked Dr Kruse about a medication he had me on being on a list of 50 worst medication to take. His response he never heard of it. I even gave him the website it was on. All he did was ask me what I wanted him to do.
