Everything about my experience with Dr. Basner from the consult to the final follow up has been amazing! The staff, especially Colleen, were always so kind and supportive with questions and concerns. Everything was above and beyond what I could’ve ever expected! Highly recommend Dr. Basner and the entire staff!

After losing 75 pounds with diet and exercise I had a lot of loose skin that I couldn’t fix myself. I researched surgeons and tummy tucks and met with 4 surgeons. Dr. Basner was the 4th and he was the last. He made me feel comfortable immediately, gave me realistic expectations and he felt confident he could get me the results I wanted in one procedure, unlike the other doctors I met with. I scheduled and paid my deposit before I even walked out - I was that comfortable with him. Fast forward to Friday Jan 6, 2023 - surgery day. Everything lasted about 5 hours and went smooth. On Saturday Dr. Basner himself called to check on me. I saw him a week later for my first post op appt. I had a fairly smooth recovery with no major issues and the few minor concerns I had were always addressed quickly through email, a call or an in office visit. I have bad anxiety and he has been so good at making me feel at ease while letting me know I should contact the office and not drive myself crazy thinking the worst of things. I appreciate that so much. I am three months out and in love with my results. I can wear things now that I’ve never been able to wear and my confidence is at a level I’m still trying to get used to. Dr. Basner has an amazing staff as well but his assistant, Colleen, is a complete angel. I emailed here just about every day for a month and she always responded - does this look normal? Can I do? Should I take? I’m sure I was a lot but she never made me feel like I was a bother. Again, so appreciated . I highly recommend Dr. Basner. I think he’s an artist and I couldn’t have picked a better surgeon. So thankful.

Dr. Basner and his team are the epitome of professionalism! From the very first call when making an appointment for a consultation to my very last visit, everyone in this office made me feel like family! Upon arriving for my consultation, the desk personnel were so friendly, discreet and thorough! They helped me back to the room to await Dr. Basner. The room was clean, spacious, smelled amazing and was relaxing. There was a young female staff member who waited in the room with me. I can not remember her name but she was so cool! We chatted and shared gut wrenching laughter as she hyped me up, she was completely tickled at my shenanigans while I was peeking around the room and telling her what I wanted. Dr. Basner came in the room and greeted me with the biggest smile. His interpersonal skills were superb! He listened attentively as I spoke, and made sure to answer all of the random questions I was throwing at him. He didn't rush me, I could tell he wasn't about the money, he showed me that he truly cared about my concerns and ensured me that I would not leave disappointed so long as I took his advice. He made sure that I understood his suggestions and when I booked, I knew I was making an informed decision. I can't thank him enough! He is very knowledgeable and delivered results far beyond my expectations! I forgot to mention, I don't know how it's so inexpensive but I saved my money for years anticipating having to pay a ridiculous price. I was so wrong! It was super affordable and had I known, I would have done it years ago!!! In a nutshell, if you're looking for an amazing Dr. and staff, you've found them! I am over the moon ecstatic with my results and I know you will be too! I waited until I was released from their care before writing this review. I wanted to capture everything and be as transparent as possible, just in case they dropped the ball. They didn't! They set the bar high! This is a winning team! I highly recommend Dr. Basner and his village.

Dr. Basner and staff have given me the best experience I could ever ask for. From the consultation, to the surgery, and follow up appointments, everyone was welcoming and endearing. Dr. Basner did a remarkable job and I had complete confidence and faith in his abilities, he is great. His knowledge, professionalism, and kindness will forever be appreciated. Called for a consultation in August and the lady who answered was rude; corrected the way I pronounced "Basner"and acted as if I was wasting her time by asking for upcoming consultation dates. She quickly hung up after she figured I was put off by the consultation fee. I loved Dr.Basners results but his receptionist left a bad taste in my mouth. Alternatively, I found a wonderful Dr. in Rockville who left me with amazing results.

I drove over an hour to have Dr. Basner do my mommy makeover. He is THE BEST! I got it in 2019 and my results are still unbelievable. I would recommend him time and time again. He gave me confidence back and that is priceless.

I highly recommend Dr. Basner. He is attentive to detail and collaborative in coming up with a plan to help meet his patients’ goals. He is an extremely skilled surgeon, and he and his staff have an excellent bedside manner. They are welcoming, patient with questions, and make you feel comfortable. I could not be happier with my results. I also have friends that have gone to Dr. Basner and they love their results too. I trust Dr. Basner to take care of any future needs I may have.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Basner and his staff. I traveled 2.5 hours to have my surgeries performed by him because I felt confident in his work, his staff, his care, and everything in between. His office and on-site surgery center are clean and well kept. From my initial consultation, Dr. Basner took the time I needed to listen to me voice my concerns and what I was looking to achieve through surgery. I would and will recommend him in the future, no questions asked.

Dr. Basner and all of the staff were very professional and kind during my visits and especially on my surgery day. I would highly recommend him to anyone. They made me feel very comfortable and answered all of my questions that I had. I never felt rushed on any of my visits. He did an amazing job. I am very satisfied with my results.

Customer service teams is bad. I have a surgery coming up and I called to speak to his coordinator but she never called me back. And I called multiple times but his team just say "I will have the coordinator give you a call back." Also, they are very rude and they sound like they just want to get you off the phone. I called last week again for the 100 time and they just said that they will call me back but 4 days later nothing yet. It is very SCARY to put your life in a team who doesnt seem to care about your concerns. If they dont call me I will cancel my surgery and walk to another doctor with my $20,000. Dr. Basner did my brachioplasty a few months ago and I couldn't be happier with my entire experience. The staff was friendly and addressed any questions i had and helped me through every step toward my procedure. I LOVE my new arms and can't wait for summer to show them off

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience from Dr. Basner and his team. He made sure I was given a voice throughout the procedure and any concerns I had were met with listening ears. DO NOT GO TO DR. BASNER. My name is Felicia Kalb I went to Dr. Basner in May 2017 for a rhinoplasty, with no medical issues with my nose and after my procedure with him, I needed to not only get another rhinoplasty, as I was unsatisfied with the results (he fixed my bridge but completely ignored my tip), but also needed to get a septoplasty (he gave me a deviated septum), nasal valse reconstruction, and turbinate reduction. I got this procedure last week and have been healing. I decided to go to Dr. Basner because of his low prices and I am a college student (the rhinoplasty was only 6k) but it’s better to pay the extra money and be safe, as I have now needed additional surgery. More so, my healing process with Dr. Basner was terrible. I had a blood clot in my eye (picture attached below) and the bruising was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Completely left me blotched and refused to fix anything which has led to medical issues as a result of his negligence. He was kind until I started having complications (couldn't walk for well over a week and he couldn't see me because per his receptionist"he was too booked with surgergies"), which landed me in the ER and he didn't even care to check on me. I was told by Dr Basner that all women have their chest fall into their armpits (later confirmed by other PSs I have bottoming out and bilateral displacement), and when I voiced my concerns about other areas Dr Basner told me "no one will see you naked anyway." I have never felt more uncomfortable and made to feel like a lesser of a person in my life. He was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. The office staff constantly made me feel like a nuisance. I had some post surgery issues with dry eye and major bruising but I trusted his professional expertise and time to heal. I’m on I70 with two boxes of fresh donuts from our local bakery.. It’s my 6 week post-op visit and (though nothing compares) I needed to bring something to show my appreciation. After researching for 3 years and finally deciding that …I could keep researching ..or just do it! ..I made consult appts with area surgeons. I wanted a lot; flat tummy, unnoticeable scar, sexy belly button and a doctor who I could trust to understand how important I was.. more than the numbers rolling through the door. During my consultation, his honesty, experience and confidence (without ego) was reassuring. This was gonna be my man. Basner isn’t the cheapest, but I wasn’t searching for a deal.. I needed peace of mind so I wanted the best I’ve never had any cosmetic surgery before so I let him know my areas of concern and we agreed on tummy tuck with abdominal repair and 360 lipo (these are always included in his tummy tuck package unless otherwise stated). I’m thankful because I’ve seen so many unsatisfied people post in different forums where their doctor never included the contouring that really highlights your natural curves.. Dr. Basner is amazing and kind as are all of his team. He is not only an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable surgeon, but an artist. I couldn’t be happier with my results and I’m only 3 weeks post op. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Great service until they get your money. I was completely blotched with my results, Basner blamed them on me for being a weight loss patient, which was never brought up as an issue prior to surgery. He refused to take accountability for short-comings and in response to my concerns, I was told and I quote "no one will see you naked under your clothes anyway", as if that I should just accept the wreck he turned my body into. I wish I never came here. Unless you are okay blowing money and being in debt with results that will cause you to have to pay for more than one round of surgery to address the same problems and new ones that he creates-- do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Four years later I cannot wear any bathing suit without both areolas popping out, my scars have buckled, my aerolas are too high they come out of all bras, low cut shirts, anything you name it. Dr. Basner and his staff are very nice and professional. I had cool sculpting and kibella done on my double chin but nothing helped. Dr. Basner gave me a necklift and removed the fat from my jaw and I am extremely happy with the results. I look 20 years younger and my jawline is tight and defined.

I have had two experiences with Dr. Basner and I can't recommend him enough. 11 years ago, he did my tummy tuck and although it was a painful recovery - it gave me confidence and I had outstanding results. When I decided to get a breast reduction a few months ago, I knew I would only go back to Dr. Basner. I moved about an hour from his office but the drive was worth it. Getting a reduction has completely changed my life and I honestly never realized what I was missing - I can wear different clothing, running doesn't hurt anymore and I feel so much better everyday. Sometimes I think women think its selfish because someone else will have to help with kids but I can't even put into words the difference this reduction has made in my life everyday. I went from an N to a DD and just be prepared to spend a lot of money on new bras :). Dr. Basner and staff are simply the best! From the moment I contacted his office and scheduled my consultation Rae and Mary answered every question I had and were extremely knowledgeable. You don’t always get that with staff members. Dr. Basner is an incredible surgeon! He met with my husband and I, explained what results we could expect and what he recommended. He is honest, patient and bottom line...can look at you, listen to what your concerns are and have a vision of how you will/can look almost immediately! Colleen and the surgery staff (anesthesiologist) are nothing less than perfection! They truly care about you in this practice! Dr. Basner is a very talented surgeon with an excellent bedside manner and is straight forward yet delicate with giving advice. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Surgery was explained very clearly, all follow ups were prompt. Recovery was as expected based on instructions. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for elective surgery. Bias and not very accommodating!

I canceled a procedure due to personal issues with more than 3 weeks’ notice. I was aware I would lose my 10% deposit and that was fine but the staff treated me like a criminal for canceling. I had planned on rescheduling but will find somewhere else.

I have never left a review before in my life but this is an exception. If i could give it 10 stars I would. I got my rhinoplasty done with Adam 3 months ago and let me tell you, it was the best decision i have ever made. During my consultation, i was nervous, i never had any surgeries prior but Adam truly listened to everything I had to say, all my concerns and answered all of my questions. I was very comfortable, very at ease and KNEW that very same day when i left that he was the surgeon i was going to go with. For those of you worrying about the limited of pictures he has on his website, during your consultation, he shows you all of the photos of his before and afters so you can get a better look. SURGERY DAY. There are no words to describe how sweet, caring, genuine patient and understanding his ENTIRE STAFF is! All the worries i had, diminished; I felt so safe and so cared for. Since day 1, his staff was nothing but the best with answering any questions i had at any point. Recovery was really fast and really smooth. He gave me the nose i have always wanted. He does very natural looks so no one would ever be able to tell you had work done. I am BEYOND satisfied and could not recommend Adam and his entire practice more. I honestly do not understand some of the negative reviews i have read. Dr. Basner did an amazing job performing breast reconstruction on my son. My son had gynecomastia surgery that had multiple complications and he revised those defects beautifully. I would never hesitate to send a young person or even an older person to Dr. Basner for any plastic surgery. He is amazing!

Dr. Basner’s work is incredible, and it is clear that he knows exactly what he is doing when it comes to breast augmentations. He performed my breast augmentation in August of this year, and I could not be happier with the results: they look very natural on my frame, but still full & perky. His assistant Colleen was very helpful with sizing, and she even let me come back a week or two after my initial consultation to try on sizes one more time, just in case. The recovery process was a breeze, and by the 5th day post-op, I was up and about. I never needed prescription strength medicine, and I’m not sure if that was because of his expert technique or my own pain tolerance, but either way, the surgery is not nearly as scary or painful as you might think. Everyone who worked in the surgical room was extremely nice as well. I like that he has a philosophy of listening to your body in recovery, and he doesn’t place undue restrictions on you if you’re recovering well. I was able to return to the gym around 3 weeks, which was really important to me. The entire process was very easy, and I feel so much more confident in myself. I had dog ears from a previous tummy tuck, and he removed them, gave me clean cut, fix the semetry and left me with great hips, and body contouring. I have absolutely zero regrets in choosing Dr Bas Dr Basner is very personable and his staff was great as well. I am writing this review in the hopes that anyone looking for a plastic surgeon who wants someone who listens, cares, wants honesty and professionalism that you look at Dr. Adam Basner. Not only was he wonderful and accommodating throughout the entire process, his team was remarkable as well. I can’t speak highly enough about all of them, including his assistant Colleen. Dr. Basner took the time during my consult to review my options, was direct about the procedure including what to expect afterwards in terms of recovery and scarring and provided his undivided attention each time I was in the office. I had a minor complication a few weeks post surgery and Dr. Basner and his team immediately responded. I am about 8 weeks out and beyond pleased with the results. Just had my surgery a week ago so I can’t really tell about the long time results but the doctor is a wonderful and kind man, listens to everything you have to say. When I had a sudden anxiety attack the night after the surgery he called me back instantly and allayed my fears.

Dr. Basner was nothing short of amazing. He takes his time with you. Colleen, his assistant was equally helpful as well as always there to answer any questions. I had called after my surgery about something I was concerned about. She immediately got on the phone with me and talked. I was extremely happy from my first visit and I’m sure my last will be just as great.

Just came from a consult with Dr. B and am looking at his reviews. No one is perfect and no matter how great someone is, statistically it’s very unlikely that everyone will have an A+ experience. A living nightmare!!!! Terrible results!! He supposedly has 25 years experience? I'm not sure in what areas? I had recent breast surgery with Dr. Baser. He completely missed the mark and ultimately destroyed my breasts with his surgical skills and approach. Proceed with caution is the best advice I can offer. I trusted him because I've had experience with his office for a number of years. I read that others have great experiences with him, I guess you were the lucky ones compared to what I now know and have read elsewhere in reviews on Yelp etc. He was nice until there was a problem and then his attitude changed completely. It has taken me awhile to post this because it has now been a year since my son's surgery but boy was this an excellent experience. My son developed gynaecomastia in middle school and despite diet and exercise was unable to reduce it. We toiled about having him undergo surgery and researched endlessly until I decided to have us meet with Dr Basner. If you are a parent with a son with this, you know how damaging it can be to their self esteem. It was torture watching our otherwise confident son struggle with this nuisance. We met with Dr Basner and immediately felt at ease. He did not push for the most expensive or invasive surgery, he gave us options and suggested a 2 step process. Honestly, the money was a non issue if it could bring our son his well earned confidence. We decided to do 2 phases, the first being liposuction to see if the skin would retract on its own once the fat was removed. We did return for the second phase to remove the excess skin as there was just too much. The surgical precision with removal of the skin and aligning the nipples was excellent. The recovery was easy and he did not need to take any of the narcotic. Dr Basner offered steady guidance but never was pushy. We are so thankful that we found this excellent surgeon. It has changed my son's life and for that we are so thankful. If you are struggling with this decision, know that you are in good hands with Dr Adam Basner.
