The front desk girl was having a phone conversation with a friend/family member sitting at the office desk within ear reach while I was waiting. The DR literally told me he didnt feel comfortable prescribing my medication and wouldnt see me without a EKG for my other medications and that I could get partial refund but then when I asked his front desk about it his 'billing specialist ' told me there was nothing he could do for me and wouldn't let me speak to him. Then I waited for 24hrs. Still nothing so I called the office and another lady said (the dr and the specialist) had talked and there was no money that could be refunded and none of them were willing to let me speak to the Doctor. I paid them $165 towards my deductible for what? I EVEN ASKED THE RECEPTIONIST WHEN I SCHEDULED THE APPT 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE IF SHE COULD SEE IF HE WAS OK EITH PRESCRIBING MY MEDICATION AND SHE SAID YEA HE WAS OK. Unprofessional! Dr Abid was extremely knowledgeable. Office was a relaxing setting. I’ve seen other psychiatrist and the office environments are always nuts.
