Dr Koonce and his entire staff are wonderful. They are professional, friendly, care about my needs, and so darn fast. I never wait long at all to get checked in. I get my next appointment while I'm waiting in the waiting room brought to me. Incredible service. Best neurologist I've ever been to. Highest recommendation!

This was the first time meeting him and he was one of the rudest doctors I have ever met! I do not recommend him or mosaic the office he works for his entire staff was rude and very disrespectful towards victims of domestic abuse. I just hope they can sleep at night. Prayers for them and their patients

I went to see Dr Koonce reason being an accident I had while working and fell 9 feet head first off my tractor trailer cracked my skull open and suffered a severe concussion I don't remember the accident I still don't 1 year later and since the accident I had been fainting frequently and that was brushed under the rug as though it never happened recently I needed to return to see him for a referral for 2nd opinion my equilibrium has been off and I fall, my falling was also swept under the rug untill I fell and got hurt and ended up in the ER and found out a concussion also not recognized and made to feel as im lieing my equilibrium should have taken no more than 3 months or so and I should have seen signs of improvement ? I fall every day, this isnt normal but I thought Dr Koonce would not have released me unless this was normal ITS NOT. Its been one year I was in the ER in September when I went to my appointment on October 13 2020 he was rude/nasty/& thinks i have an ear infection which would make me unstable REALLY he said I passed with flying colors I DID NOT I have found the left hand side of my body isnt as sensitive as my right & while standing and asked to close my eyes I fell 3 times towards to the left im not sure why the left ? He touched my left and there was large areas that I have no feeling and my foot i really couldn't feel that either I asked him try again oh he took that instrument and dug it so far in it turned my underneath white. LONG story short when you question his reasoning he let's his temperament go from 1 to 10 as he opens the door and doesn't want to listen 100% and will literally stop you short if he doesn't like what your saying % this isnt a Dr i hope to ever see again he is extremely unprofessional and so I leave my future into my lawyers hands and hope I will not get hurt worse the next time I fall 1 more thing he rolled his eyes when I had told him I sleep on the floor on 1 matress so hopefully when I fall getting out of bed to use my restroom I won't have far to fall so not to hurt myself I feel it's important to inform others because in my case file I have been 100% honest and treated as a liar and so im not being treated for my problems and this isnt a life its HELL im in I hope Dr Koonce does whats right ...... I agree with others. He does not listen, and had me in tears as well. He basically said I was fat, and needed to lose 40 lbs, and did nothing for my ailments. No treatment plan provided. I had to go somewhere else to get a diagnosis and treatment. And my diagnosis had nothing to do with my weight.

He does not listen to his patients at all. I left his office in tears. He refused to answer my questions and did not give me a treatment plan.

Very professional, yet comfortable in discussing my health problems. Got the wrong impression when I tried to tell him where my anxiety comes from.

As a nurse of almost 20 years, I have never filled out an online review of any physician, but I feel compelled to do so now. If you are looking to take a loved one or family member for a neuro consult, look elsewhere. I have never witnessed such a lack of compassion during an exam, nor what seemed like disdain from a physician toward a patient. I sat and watched my father, who suffered from Dementia, questioned relentlessly as to his memory recall of current spasms he suffered from, followed by a reflex exam in which the doctor caused my fathers skin tear to re-open and seep. This doctor is flippant, and lacks common kindness. I'm more than sure Dr. Koonce is a brilliant neurologist, but his lack of empathy is appalling.

Dr Koonce was very helpful in finding just the right meds to help me. Other drs didn't seem to care. He knew all about my condition. Very informed. He's the only one I will go to !

I came to him as a second opinion from my primary care physician. I explained that I was having difficulty with the approach my PCP was using and wanted more info. What did he do...I will quote from his notes: 'I beleive this patient has an agenda....I met with his PCP who agrees'. He then ordered 3 VERY expensive tests that were very painful. I guess he showed me. OOh, by the way, It was later discovered that the symptoms i was experiencing were from Fibromyalgia. I filed a formal complaint and he was soon moved to the Oshkosh office.
